1.Introduction:

In this chosen article, Jurnal Kepimpinan Pendidikan :Kepimpinan Ulul Al-Bab

:Kajian Awal Di Maktab Rendah Sains Mara, article written by Mohd Radzi Taib,

Zuraidah Abdullah & Muhammad Faizal A.Ghani by Institut Kepimpinan

2016.Bil.3.Isu 2.The critique will begin with a summary of the article and followed

by an analysis of the study following the organizing structure presented in the

article, and an analysis of the content of the article compared against the statetments

made in the abstract.The critique will conclude with an evaluation of the article’s

strengths and weakness, and its implications will be discussed.


2.Summary of the Article:

As a matter of fact, from abstract of the article does not seem straightforward since

it is a combination of an experimental and exploratory study.The author starts by

saying that.Anyway, the objective of the study was to find out an answer for the

article is about albab leadership in education and algebraic thinking, on the

curriculum and teaching and learning concepts of the Ulul al-Bab MRSM students

through three basic quranic, encyclopedic and Islamic studies (Ijtihadik).In

accordance with the aim of the paper which is to purpose the study found that the

similarity perspectives of ulul al-bab leadership among teacher and

students.However, it should be taken into the consideration that the study is

experimental in nature.in intent to introduce how the education and leadership of

ulul al-chapter in the education system at MRSM As a matter of that, it is based on

the analysis made by the author through the research data that has been made.

3.Critique of Article:

In this part of the critique, the article’s idea and content will be analysed in almost

the same sequence presented in the article.Firstly, a short comment about the title of

the study, then the abstract, the introduction and literature of the study, the

methodology, the findings, and discussion of the major strengths and weakness in

the study.
3.1 The Title:

“Kepimpinan Ulul Al-Bab :Kajian Awal Di Maktab Rendah Sains Mara”.The title

of the journal article is to large extent is brief an informative.It in fact effectively

attracts interest by celerrly specifying the methodology of the study, which is, a ( )

kepimpinan ulul al-Albab analysis that is suitable for looking in the experience of

MRSM students with ulul al-Albab leadership.However, it is clearly show the

impact about the ulul al-Albab leadership among teachers and teaching and

learning.

3.2 The Abstract:

In the abstract of this article,the researchers clearrl stated the purpose or study,

which was “to explore the experience of a group.In the abstract included that the

similarity perspectives of Ulul Al-Bab leadership among teachers and students.In

addition, the abstract of the study offered a good indication of the research design

and the methodology employeed.Moreover, the abstract has provided a leaders have

full authority in decision making, leaders emphasise on timelines, leaders are wise

in making decision, leaders are always ready to organize the school program,

leaders influence school communities to work sincerely for Allah,leaders set and

achieve organizational collaboratively,leaders are arole model,leaders instill sense

of piety to school communities and leaders have enough knowledge and skill and

value to manage teachers and staff.


3.3 The Introduction and Literature Review:

The introduction of this study discussed some significant paaarts of the study such

as the purpose of the study, the literature review and the research

question.However,most of the section of the study, In this introduction we explain

the definition of Ulul Al-Bab Leaders in terms of meaning and meaning in

Language and terms. In this introduction In general, it is clear that Ulul al-Bab is a

person who thinks and acts based on the purity and purity of his inner voice.

.To begin with,the authors have made references to use

in the introduction section.Most of previous studies on the topic focused mainly on

Ulul al-Bab Leadership by identifying the main characteristics of the Ulul al-Bab

leadership that emphasize knowledge, skills and values.

Additionally, even though the statement of the problem was discussed in a separate

section it was clearly stated in the introduction of the study. Therefore, discuss to

identify the main characteristics of Ulul al-Bab leadership that emphasize aspects of

knowledge, skills and values based on teachers and students' perspectives. Even

school leaders are still looking for the style of leadership they need to practice

based on the characteristics or types of schools they lead.


Moreover,regarding the purpose of study,it clearly stated and agreed with the

title.Moreover,the author’s research questions were answerable, and researchers

chose to obtain them by.Finally the research question anserwable chose to aobtain

them by conducting in structure qusetionaire,However,all research quaetionaire

more suitable as research questionnaire with comparison to others.

3.4 The Methodology:

In fact, The study was conducted through data collection using quantitative

methods. Malaysia. Researchers have explored the views of MRSM elementary

schools involving teachers and students. For the study participants among the

teachers was the total population size of 305 teachers at three Ulul al-Bab MRSMs

in Malaysia.

As a matter of fact, the method used in this study seems to large extent suitable with

quantitative analysis so that experience of the writers’s can be explored.The data

collection and data analysis procedures were also clearly justified which make the

methodology of this study the best part of the study as far as I am concerned.

3.5 The Results:


Firstly, the results in this study were presented a Ulul al-Bab leadership model

according to the teachers' perception. Based on the findings of the study, the

relationship of Islamic jurisprudence with Encyclopedic dimension is the strongest

Regression Weights values. with the Quranic dimension. This situation shows that

in the context of teachers, every knowledge presented to students is based on or

closely related to the Quranic dimension. This is called Ulul al-Bab education

lesson.

In fact, This analysis also shows a model of Ulu al-Bab leadership based on student

perceptions.according to this study in the context of students. this also means that

the faculty or teachers need to have sufficient knowledge or in other words need to

have knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.

3.6 Discussions:

Discussion of study findings made to show the dimensions of the findings of the

study. This is very much in line with the findings that have been made.

The findings state and show that leaders or principals should have extensive and

extensive knowledge

Firstly, According to the teachers' perception, a principal should always be prepared

to serve the MRSM staff well. A principal can lead the MRSM community to be

disciplined. Discipline in the context of this study is that doing a job can produce
excellent work quality.Secondly, The principal is prepared to implement the

program that has been planned and implemented and the actions taken by the

program will show that the principal has the credibility of the principal as the leader

of the school.

More recommendations were that the Ulul al-Bab Leadership should be applied

and exemplified by other schools in our country to increase the leadership level of

the principal. This is a very useful suggestion for all principals to follow and be

followed by all principals in Malaysian schools.

4.Major Strengths and Weakness:

This article can be considered as a god one du to some of its strengths, it still has

some weakness, and hence both of these attributes and flaws wil be discussed

briefly.First of all, this is article is very good in terms of the method created using

the quantitative analysis approach, where the results of the study are based on the

results of the study.It is suitable to present accurate findings to answer the

questions of the study.Next, in terms of language, this article is easy to understand

and has good language for readers and creates an interest for readers to learn more
.Additionally, he reader has sufficient information from the beginning of this article

to the purpose of this article in terms of purpose and description of the entire

content of this article.

On the other hand, the weakness of the study there are some terms that are not well

understood by the reader, which terms are rarely encountered by the reader and

make it difficult for the reader to understand the term.

.Moreover, there are many links between the diagrams of the studies that were made

so much that the reader was forced to understand the article more thoroughly and to

understand more closely the content of the article.

5.Conclusion for the Article Critique:

Articlehis has shown the authors how to implement the al-Bab ulul leadership in

MRSM schools in Malaysia and to be practiced by all other school principals as

well.Overall, this project research is one of the articles that has been included in the

journal. Besides, it is also a look at how to increase the dignity of a principal.

To conclude, This article is a lot of fun to read, in keeping with the good

contributions to the research
