I liked what Maram did in the activity where Mariam
has been used :
§ Timer for what students had to do for each
time.
§ She also used class dojo and that for
controlling the students.
§ Mariam also used Plickers game and that for
the assessment.

Using Stickers
Ringing the bell as when Mariam used to ring the bell,
students become freeze with doing nothing.

The most efficient strategy used here was Plickers
game as for me it is my first time to see it, so I
decided to use it in my lessons.
To bring a board and write all the students names and
instead of putting the stickers on students’ hands, put them
on the board. That will engage students and they do their
 best to collect more stickers and win a gift at the end of the

Mariam deserves the full mark because she was well ready for the lesson and that was clear and obvious in her lessons .
Besides, she was enthuastic during the lesson and was greatly connected with the lesson. In addition, caring for the classroom
and the learning environment and even having good rapport with students.

Mariam wrote a good and organized lesson plan through which she managed to prepare and identify the guided questions and
their connectivity with the essential question. Besides, Mariam deserves the score and that because the activities are well
prganized and sequenced and guided students learning towards achieving objectives. In addition, the materials used were really
valuable and she has provided too much focus on students during the class and the activities .

Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague):

• This a great assessment that I have done with my friend Mariam Helal at grade 1 where she was teaching a
science class introducing a lesson titled Students will be able to: classify some different kinds of animals :
Especially Amphibian and Reptile only Conducing a formal observation is a wonderful act where in fact I learn
from others and here in this lesson, I felt happy to see another student teacher explains a lesson and that
encouraged me to imitate the student’s teacher. Mariam was happy of being with her where in case of giving
her any comment, I was sure that she will do the next lesson and she accepted that and even that was so clear in
the lesson. After the lesson I was so happy on providing some advice to Mariam about her performance in the
lesson and really that made me full of happiness and satisfaction when I give a hand to others to do well the
next time. Mariam read my comments and assessment with a friendly way and she agreed on my assessment
and one of the suggestions that admired Mariam was translate the words in the Arabic. Everything went well
and we both were so happy with such experience and even Mariam was greatly happy and wished that happens
again and again. I like when I wrote any comments for Mariam try to improve in the next lesson.
