Commitment to the Profession (15%) F D C B A

Maitha work with her teachers closely on the lesson plan. During the assembly, she participated and
monitors student while they were in line. Maitha had some issues first starting in professionalism
because information was not relayed that she was sick. However when Maitha is getting back on
track and she has improved in her professionalism by bring in medical leave forms.
Planning for Learning (15%) F D C B A

All teachers in the classroom understood the routine. All activities were actively engaging and was
time, age, and skill appropriate. Some of the components are missing make sure to fill it all out.
Managing Learning (15%) F D C B A

During morning group reminds the students about the class rules. Maitha sequence in instruction
was well organized. Later on in the lesson, and a behavior problem arises, Maitha does remind
students to stay focus. When working on the focus group make sure, you have at least three copies
one for you and one between two students because the children on the outside really could not
connect because they had to stand to see the only model. Maitha warned students that in five
minutes they would have to clean up. I like students had something to take home. Maitha establishes
and manages classroom routines and transitions.
Implementing Learning (20%) F D C B A

Comments: Maitha did the morning routine; however make sure to summarize the closing of the
month of the year, not just repeating the day and the month use gradual release. Maitha power
point slide identifies the fruits and vegetable. The power point slide demonstrated the body parts and
identify what types of vegetables keep the organs healthy. The slide showed the eye and looked like
the carrot. The ears were associated with mushroom etc. Maitha had stories and to identify her
plant's students were engage because whole group was very informative. Maitha asked questions
about the stories. There were some parts of showing the vegetables compared to body parts some
students could explain the slides less teacher-led. Very good with the book you had Ahmed and other
students count on the e-book power point. Maitha explain activities to the students before they went
to the centers.
Activity 1(focus group): Students have a paper plate, and they have to draw the life cycle of the plant
and write the words. Make sure you have the glue, and the teacher had to put out the glue for the
students.
Activity 2 Students made a crown about the life cycle of the plant. Activity crown makes sure you
have the stapler; they need a finish the activity.
Activity 3(Math): students had different cards, and they put the right number of seeds shown in the
card. This activity was appropriate, and students were engaged.
Activity 4(Science): students had a cut human body; students cut out pictures of the fruits and
vegetables and then placed the food in the right place of the body parts. Maitha, you needed to have
an example, so children knew how to connect the body parts. Your Arabic teacher knew that children
should have a model because this was complicated to identify vegetables and fruit associated with
our bodies. This activity should have another student in the group. Some of the fruits needed to be
cut out because the students needed help. The Arabic teacher assists in great collaboration. Very
good activity.
Activity students made a flower using paper-plates task the was making the paper plate flower did not
have any glue; your teacher had to give students the glue.
With the counting, the leaves painting make sure you still have wipes or a sponge so students can
clean up the table. Have a plastic on the table.
When you told, the class to clean up after the 2 minutes you need to remember to put on the clean-
up song.
