Summary
Victor H. Miesel is the Principal, Chief Economist and U.S. Practice Leader of transfer pricing and
economics consulting. He is an expert on the OECD BEPS initiative including CbCr and Masterfile
documentation requirements. Victor has been elected as one of the leading transfer pricing advisers
in the world by outside legal counsel and peer review and has been included in Euromoney's Guide
to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers since 2004. Victor's experience spans more than
25 years of transfer pricing, economic services, intangible property valuation, litigation support
and practice building. During this time, he has performed and defended transfer pricing studies for
some of the largest multinational companies operating across a wide variety of industries, including:
financial services, life sciences, technology, automotive, energy, consumer goods, and private
equity investment. Before joining Mazars Group, Victor was the Global Managing Director of Experis
Finance's Transfer Pricing Center of Expertise. Victor has lead practices in the United States and
Europe, and has held senior economist, principal and officer positions in Big Four public accounting
firms (PwC, Arthur Andersen, KPMG), management consulting firms (A.T. Kearney, NERA Economic
Consulting, Duff & Phelps), and the United States government. He has published and presented
on an extensive range of transfer pricing topics and is a frequent speaker at international tax and
industry-focused conferences. Victor received undergraduate degrees in economics and political
science from the University of Michigan, and master's degrees in applied economics and public
policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He is an
associate member of the American Bar Association and a member of the ABA Tax Subcommittee on
Transfer Pricing.
