Assistant Professor (Jyotish)

Minutes of the meeting of the IQAC Standing Committee dated 07.10.2019 for
screening cum evaluation of applications received for the post of Assistant Professor
(Jyotish) in response to the advertisement No. 03/2019 published in Employment News
dated 22-28 June, 2019.
Undersigned members of the IQAC Standing Committee constituted vide Office Order dated
04.10.2019 for screening cum evaluation of applications received for the post of Assistant Professor
(Jyotish) in response to the advertisement 03/2019 published in Employment News dated
22-28 June, 2019, met on 07.10.2019 in the Conference Hall of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed
University), New Delhi. The Committee noted that a total of 116 applicants applied for the post of
Assistant Professor (Jyotish) through online mode. Out of these applicants, only 89 applicants have
submitted completed hardcopies of their online applications alongwith required fee and documents.
The Committee screened applications of those 89 applicants, who have submitted online
applications as well as hardcopies alongwith the required documents and paid fee. Having perused the
relevant Recruitment Rules, UGC-2018 regulations, Advertisement released and also other relevant
records/documents, the Committee made the following recommendations, keeping in view of the
mandatory requirements contained in the Advertisement regarding procedure, qualifications, fee &
documents etc.
