Background of the Song: (Offer personal story here.)

I sang this song in High School with my choir. My choir director, Mr. Bukraba, shared this song
with us and told us that his mom used to sing this to him when he was a small child. When he
taught the choir this song, I felt like a big part of his life because he shared something so
important to him. I fell in love with this song and I want to teach it to my students and follow the
tradition that he has for many years, which is teaching it to his students!

 Teacher will say “I have a challenge for you, we are going to sing this in a round,
meaning that the right side of the room is going to sing first then the left side of the room
will follow after them, are we ready?”
