HyperAmp™ HA2401-1000

2.4 GHz 1 Watt Bi-Directional Amplifier

HyperAmp™ HA2401-1000 is the 1 Watt version of Hyperlink's pole-top amplifiers for

2.4 GHz spread spectrum wireless LANs. This unit’s high power, excellent linearity and
ultra-low 3.5 dB noise figure make it the highest performance wireless LAN amplifier
available today.

The HyperAmp™ HA2401-1000 improves range and reliability by placing maximum

transmit power as well as 17 dB of low-noise receive gain directly at the antenna where
it is most effective. This receive gain compensates for cable losses and actually
increases the receive sensitivity of most wireless LAN radios. The unit can be
configured to deliver over 1 Watt of transmit power with as little as 5 mW of input
power. This feature permits cable runs of several hundred feet with no degradation in
operating range.

HyperAmp™ is compatible with Direct Sequence and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum including 16QAM and 11
Mbit/sec IEEE 802.11b devices.

All-new DC Power Injector

HyperAmp’s all-new DC Power Injector provides power to the HyperAmp™ through the
antenna feed cable, simplifying installation. Current-sensing circuits provide reliable remote
amplifier diagnostics via two indicator LEDs. In addition, this unit provides effective lightning
protection with multi-strike capability. The Power Injector also features a versatile aluminum
mounting bracket suitable for surface or wall-mounting.
