Project Name : Detail Integrated Warehouse

Client : GEA

Description:

DIW(Detail integrated data ware house)contains the engineering development cost data from
EMCS(Energy management control system) and PMCS(program management control
system )and also open commitment data related to different sources like APX(Account payable
expense system) and IBS(Internal billing system) and also EFS(Engineering finding system).

The scope of the project is to provide visibility to the amount spend at for each project level,
contract level,cost element level and for each WBS( Work break down structure ) level which
contains all the wages related details.

Responsibilities:

 Understanding the Business Requirements and Develop an ETL process to load data.
 Extracted data from heterogeneous sources and loaded to DWH.
 Creating source to target mappings and developing ETL mappings using informatica PC.
 Developing the code like mappings, sessions and workflows required to load the data
into Oracle application from Flat files and staging tables.
 Extensively used different transformations like Source Qualifier, Expression, Lookup,
Filter, Update Strategy, Router, Normalizer, and Sequence Generator to develop DWH .
 Writing the test cases for performing unit testing
 Experience in doing performance tuning when the code available in production.

Description:

CARLSON has focused on producing innovative solutions for the rapidly changing health care
market place for more than a century. CARLSON labs has been working in the areas of
pharmaceuticals, nutritional, hospital products and diagnostics. The purpose of this project is to
create an adhoc reporting system to assist top management in marketing decisions about their
sales, purchases, finance and production departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Transformed the data according the business requirement and then loaded into multiple
databases
 Extensively used the transformers like aggregator, router, joiner, expression, lookup,
update strategy and sequence generator
 Used workflow manager to create, schedule, execute, monitor sessions and batches that
perform source to target data loads
 Find tuned transformations and mappings for the better performance.
 Analyzed session log files in case the session failed to resolve errors in the mapping or
session configuration. Performed unit testing and verified the data using debugger.
