ABOUT THE COURSE
It is the prime duty of every occupier to
provide Safety, Health and Welfare to their
Employees at workplace. To ensure this they
have to set up a Safety Management System in a
consistent manner as guided by various
legislations, standards, codes & others in any
industrial / port / construction / other allied
activities. As per the PDCA, the provision of
Safe Workplace has to be monitored on a
continual basis for which internal Safety Audit
at least once in a year by a team of safety experts
becomes essential.
This Workshop on ‘Safety Audit’ is
designed to equip the delegates to understand the
techniques of internal safety audit to enable
them to implement measures for improving the
working conditions in the factory/ port/
construction sites and better compliance with
legislative requirement.

FACULTY
The programme will be delivered by
faculty from Central Labour Institute.
PARTICIPATION
The delegates of the programme will be
plant Engineers, Managers, Safety officers and
others working in the factories/ ports/
construction sites. The number of participants to
be enrolled for this programme will be strictly
limited to 25 only, on first-come-first-basis.

ACCOMMODATION:
Limited accommodation on sharing
basis is likely to be made available in the
Institute hostel at nominal rates on first-come-
first served basis. Request for hostel
accommodation should be communicated well in
advance (for outstation nominees only). Canteen
facility is available in the hostel on 24x7 basis.
