The whole legal community of Zamboanga del Norte, mourns the loss of MCTC of

Katipunan-Sergio Osmeña Judge Alnaiza Hassiman-Jamud.

An exemplar of public service, Judge Naiz, has bravely gone and presided courts
even beyond our dear province – in Tawi-Tawi and Sulu, where very few people
have had the mettle to even visit, let alone serve at.

In her own words, she has described her decision to brave these far-flung, and
oftentimes misunderstood places, to be more of a gift – an opportunity to give back
to her people and to her birthplace.

This was the Judge Naiz, we all have grown to love over the years – a woman with
principle and a strong sense of duty.

To her students, she was more than her strict and unweilding persona in the
classroom. She was a mentor in every sense of that word.

She will forever be remembered – her legacy etched into the hearts of every lawyer,
student and every person who has had the honor of interacting with her.
