NOTE: This Program must be administered either before or after failure.

In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by
the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS46531" as the Part
Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before

ACTION REQUIRED
1. Drain the cooling system.

 2. Isolate the radiator group from the water lines group and flush the
radiator with acceptable quality water.

3. Remove any debris that has accumulated in the lower tank inlet ports.

4. Reinstall all water lines group parts that were removed to isolate the
radiator in Step 1.

5. Refill the cooling system to 90-94% capacity with acceptable quality

water.

Note: Refer to SEBU6250, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Caterpillar

Machine Fluids Recommendations, "Caterpillar Minimum Acceptable Water
Quality Requirements", for additional information.

6. Top off the cooling system with Cat Cooling System Cleaner - Quick
Flush cleaner so that the solution is 6-10%%cleaner.

7. Run the engine for 1.5 hours.

8. After allowing adequate time for the system to cool, drain the cooling
system.

Note: Corrosion of the metals can occur if the Quick Flush cleaning
solution is in the cooling system for longer than 2 hours.

9. Flush the cooling system.

10. Fill the cooling system with acceptable quality water.

11. Run the engine for 20 minutes.

12. Drain the water.

13. Refill the cooling system with new coolant.
