Job Title: HR Analytics Manager
Reports To (Job Title): Executive Director HR Technology & Analytics

Job Summary: Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

The Human Resources (HR) Analytics Manager is responsible for collecting and analyzing available
data to inform HR & the business regarding key HR dimensions, highlighting challenges and progress
in recruitment, performance, employee lifecycle, and retention. The HR Analytics Manager will manage
a team who will build visualizations using technology such as Tableau or Cliq from a database of HR
information from existing data, new data, and special studies. He/she will work closely with HR Team,
Finance Team, Business leaders, Information Systems Team and others to collect, monitor, and
analyze global data, The HR Analytics Manager is a part of the HR Team and reports directly to
Lenovo’s Executive Director for HR Technology & Analytics.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: List up to 6 key roles and responsibilities in order of importance. Next to each, indicate the
approximate percentage of time spent on work related to that responsibility.

1. Successfully manage a team of 7 Analysts 60%

2. Collect and analyze data and build data visualizations to easily communicate trends and 20%
key indicators to internal customers. Design and organize special studies about HR
issues that will inform the business and suggest interventions that will reflect their
effectiveness. Lead & recommend solutions and analytics models to do predictive and
prescriptive analytics
3. Partner with HR Partners and COEs to promote data usage for decision-making, 15%
training them in data analysis and drawing conclusions
4. Recommend software solutions to increase team’s efficiency and effectiveness. 5%

Complexity can be high as the role is responsible for understanding data, processes, organizations and
teams in 60+ countries and then using that data to solve a large scope number of various issues. Also
the HR Analytics Assistant Manager needs to develop correct HR and Business matrices, design
appropriate analytical solutions, select a coding platform and troubleshoot any challenges/errors
