Sr. Officer Communications and Marketing


Reporting to : Manager Communications and Marketing

WWF- Pakistan Salary Grade : C2
Location : Lahore
Department : Communications

Duties & Responsibilities

Communications and Marketing

1. The position will be responsible for select internal and external publications and other
promotional / educational material of WWF-Pakistan.
2. The incumbent will also seek advertisements for the publications where required.
3. He /she will coordinate with other departments / projects for related assignments.
4. Will ensure correct branding on all WWF publications.
5. Will proof read and finalize content for designing, working closely with Senior Graphic
Designer to finalize publications.

Social Media
1. Responsible for developing platform appropriate content for all WWF-Pakistan’s social media
2. Design and implement social media campaigns to implement WWF’s social media strategy.
3. Regular updates to the reporting Manager to gain appropriate input on updating social
networking initiatives and strategies.
4. Develop the content calendar and finalisation of monthly campaigns after discussing it with
the reporting Manager.
5. Monitor sentiment on social media and respond according after consultation with relevant
6. Ensure that all social networking strategies are compliant with brand regulations and social
media guidelines of WWF-Pakistan.
7. Stay abreast of new social media sites, platforms and emerging technologies.
8. Monitor trends in social media tools and applications.
9. Obtain appropriate management approval for all social networking initiatives.

Selection Criteria

Education & Work Experience

1. Bachelor Degree/Masters Degree in English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication,

Communication etc.
2. Understanding of utilizing emerging platforms e.g Facebook, Twitter, Tweet deck, Istigram,
You tube, Vimeo etc
3. Must have 4 years or more experience of working in Marketing and Digital Media.

Skills & Attributes

1. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities within specified timeframes

2. Excellent writing and communication skills and the aptitude to handle competing messages
3. High command of English
4. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals;
5. Excellent interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, discretion and impartiality).
6. Superior English Language (reading, writing and speaking skills);
7. Problem-solving skills and results orientation;
8. Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in Pakistan;
9. A vibrant and amicable personality;
10. Proficiency in the use of computer office applications on word processing, spread sheet and
