Describe

I feel tired to do the real Teaching, because it was at the last hour at exactly 2 pm. Students who are
preparing to go home do not expect to have more classes. I realized because I did not do all the
teaching in accordance with the lesson plan (Lesson plan) made. Because, as students already want to
go home. Moreover, the absence of a projector causes the essence of what I will say feels bland. After
that, I can overcome that problem. When students are in class, they cannot be compromised because
most of them already want to go home. Finally, I tried to encourage students to sing Days of the week

Informing

Theme of my teaching was day of the Week AS In According to the Syllabus. Furthermore, Skills who
want to improve is speaking. Hence, I use the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) as the approach.
Moreover, the topic is about Days of the week.

The main reason why I use CLT as approach is because it is motivated based on self-motivation and
refers to the 2013 curriculum. Further, Larsen-Freeman (1990); Richards (1987) stated that in
communicative settings, the students are the agent of classroom activities, they interact one another,
they learnt language to express their meaning, students learnt language as means of judgements,
students learnt how to meet their communication needs, students learnt language as function to get
things done as well as they learnt language as the representation of cultures, beliefs and a means to
maintain relationship among society. Thus, class activities involve real-world issue and context as the
content of instruction (Starak, 2016). in this teaching practice, i decided to use CLT as the approach of
my classroom activities, discussion as the strategy of instruction as well. Additionally, it is as an effort to
help them learn how to master communicative competences as the answer towards 21st century
learning challenges which forcing them to have good communication, collaboration, critical thinking and
creativity in facing the real-world topic in day bay day living (Celce-murcia, 2007; Harmer, 2007; Richards,
1987; Starak, 2016).

Confronting

After reviewing the video carefully, I found that some students were right in respond and some have
been indifferent because they want to hurry home. I divide them into 4 groups and do a quiz with prizes
that can answer the questions that are given the correct answer then it will go home. Rather than being
a model for correct speech and writing and one with the primary responsibility of making students
produce plenty of error-free sentences, the teacher had to develop a different view of learners’ errors
and of her/his own role in facilitating language learning (Richards, 1987, p. 5).

Reconstructing

As I watched and reflected on my teaching, I need to improve merely in the way of engaging the
students. First, I realized, must have some planning, because not all schools have projectors. Further, for
another realteaching. I have to take the morning hours so students can focus more on learning.
