her overtime pay and her Sunday/holiday pay given the following: Monday – 8 hours; Tuesday- 10

Merize is paid ₱30.25 per hour.

and rice allowance of ₱1,800.00. Her overtime pay for the month amounted to ₱ 7,851.50. Her
monthly contributions to PagIBIG, Philhealth, and SSS are ₱ 500.00, ₱ 437.50, and ₱ 581.30
respectively. If his withholding tax for the month is computed based on tax table, determine her
gross and net earnings.

7. Johny receives a basic pay of ₱25,300 per month plus a 2% commission on his sales. He came up
with a sales revenue of ₱ 208,870.00 during the month of August. Aside from the SSS, Philhealth
and tax withheld, he needs to contribute ₱200.00 for the PagIBIG fund and pay a salary loan of
₱1250. Compute his gross earnings, total deductions and net salary for the month of August.
