1. Hardware installation
1.1 Wiring

Please use RS-485 connection from terminal to CYT-160. Please add 120Ω in CYT-160 side.
Also, please add 120Ω for the farthest BF-Mini device.
One pcs of CYT-1600 can be connected with 16 pcs of BF-Mini-W at the most.

1.2 Hardware setting
BF-Mini-W can use hardware interface for settting

2. Web setting
2.1 CYT-160
 SemacSearch
Please connect power and network cable, and use Semac search to find out the device. (Default IP is
192.168.168.125) While the SEMACSearch window shows up, it will display all CYT-160 in LAN,
and show its Terminal ID, Model Name, IP Address, Subnet Mark, Gateway, Mac Address, Software
IP. Select particular CYT-160, then its related information will appear below the window, as shown:

  Web Server
Directly type device IP address on web browser, you will enter to web server. The default login user id/
password: admin/ admin. In this page, you can set its IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS primary,
terminal id, terminal name, software port, and software IP address.
Ajusting terminal number, it will have influence for conneting other BFMINI terminal number. For
example, BFmini-W terminal number is 1, you can connect BFminiW from 1~ 16. If terminal number
is 2, you can connect BF-Mini-W from 17~32.

3. Trouble shooting
3.1 Terminal and device connection fail

 Problem checking:
Please enter CYT-160 terminal status to check recent connection status. If that
is ”SOMAC(TCP/IP)” problem, please check network part.
If that is ”Terminal(RS485)” problem, please check RS-485 connection.

 485 part
1. Please sure BF-Mini-W is changed to RS-485 communication mode. And please use
hardware to administrator page  quickly setup for checking
2. Please check BF-Mini terminal id and CYT-160 terminal is matched or not. Please refer
CYT-160 terminal number list
3. Please check RS-485 connection is good, and it does not have any influence.(ex: 220V
power cable). Also, add resistor at the farthest BF-Mini-W

 Network part
1. Please sure CYT-160 set correct software IP address and port. If that is WAN network,
please also set default gateway and DNS address. If that is LAN, please check software and
CYT-160 is in the same subnet mask.
2. Check software listening the correct IP and communication port. Please also close firewall
and anti-virus software.

3.2 Device LCD display symbol meaning

 “ : ¦ ” symbol
Means device and CYT-160 connection corret, but not connect with software
 “ : ) ” symebol
Device and software is connected
