And now repeating silently to yourself...

My heartbeat is slow and regular. My heartbeat is slow and regular.

And feeling the pulsations of your heartbeat in your chest, and

perhaps in your neck, or abdomen, or fingers and toes, becoming
slow and regular...

And now...
My forehead is comfortably cool. My head is clear and light. My
forehead is comfortably cool. My head is clear and light.

Slowly, repeating to your self...

My entire body feels heavy and relaxed. I am at peace. My entire
body feels heavy and relaxed. I am at peace.

And you may continue repeating these words. Or you may practise
your slow deep breathing and hear each of the following statements
as though they

are being spoken from deep within your own mind. Or you may
choose to mentally repeat to yourself each statement, changing it
slightly if necessary

to make it fit you more personally.

I am at peace.

I am relaxed and in control of my life.

Relaxation and enjoyment are essential to my health.

I choose to lower my blood pressure.

I practice these relaxation techniques each and every day.

I am at peace.

I share and treasure relationships with others.

I laugh frequently and deeply with people, not at them.

I am aware of my emotions and take a moment to relax whenever I

feel stressed.

I trust myself.

I feel safe and secure.

I express and then let go of my anger.

Within the peaceful centre of my heart, there's no room for

hostility.

I express my feelings often, fully and appropriately.

I am at peace.
