HUB OFFICE
Location: Via G. Verdi 7, Milan, Italy
Latitude/Longitude: 45°28’06.6” N 9°11’18.4”E
Gross Area: 640 mq

Elevation: 211 m

Function: Bank Office

The project takes place in the city center of Milan.
As one of the most important banking company, Unicredit is trying to set
up a new typology for their offices by mixing public and private spaces.
Clearness in distribution was one of the concepts leading the design
phase in order to separate in any case these two spheres: flexible rooms
for quick meeting are placed in between as a filter, while all the work-
ing areas are in an open space to strenght the interaction between col-
legues.
Light was also very important since the site is underlit due to the existing
small windows: the project opens new arches in the facade in order to
get more light inside from the front; the existing dome is replaced with
a plane glass roof where a circular window allows the light to spread in
the remaining dark areas.
