Machine ECM

The machine ECM (1) is an environmentally sealed unit. The machine ECM is mounted under the cab
on the left side of the machine. The machine ECM is protected by a cover that must be removed in
order to obtain access to the machine ECM.

The solenoids (5) are installed on the modulating valves (6). The solenoids receive a signal from the
machine ECM in order to energize the solenoid. When the solenoid energizes, the spool of the
modulating valve moves in order to direct pressure oil to the clutch. The distance of spool movement
is proportional to the strength of the signal that is sent to the solenoid by the machine ECM.

Brake Pressure Sensor

The brake pressure sensor (7) is located on the brake valve (8). The brake valve (8) is located under
the floor of the cab on the right side of the machine.

Transmission Neutralizer Override Switch

The transmission neutralizer override switch (9) is located on the dash of the machine.

Parking Brake Switch

A parking brake switch (10) lights an indicator light on the dash when the parking brake is engaged.
When the parking brake is engaged, putting the transmission in gear causes a switch in the
transmission control to open. An audible alarm sounds.

The engine ECM (18) is a nonserviceable, environmentally sealed unit. The engine ECM is mounted
on the engine on the right side of the machine.

Service Connector

The service connector (19) is located on the right hand console near the floor. The connector is used
to connect to the data communication equipment that is used for diagnostic purposes.

Fuse Panel

The fuse panel (20) is located on the right hand console panel. The right hand door must be opened in
order to obtain access to the fuse panel.
