must know what it provides in terms of advantages and
disadvantages.

First, the evolution of technology is beneficial to humans

for several reasons. At the medical level, technology can help
treat more sick people and consequently save many lives and
combat very harmful viruses and bacteria.

The invention of the computer was a very important point.

Communication is thus enhanced. Facebook also helps to
connect people who are far from each other and keeps people
up to date on the latest news and information of each other. For
students who study abroad, they can use ‘facebook’ as a media
to keep in touch with family and friends. A healthy relationship
is thus maintained and the stress felt due to long-distant
relationship can be decreased.

Smart phones are extremely useful in this modern era of

globalisation. They are convenient and can be brought to
anywhere. People need smart phones to text and call others for
urgent matters, for building a long lasting relationship, for
discussing business matters and more.

They do not only help to save time, but also keep people safe

modern technology has disadvantages. Facebook which has
been used by billions of people around this world is causing

causes teenagers to neglect their studies and perform badly in
their examinations.

as it could cause people to suffer from incurable health
problems in the long run. Direct exposure to blue light can
cause damage to the retina of the eye. Besides, addiction to it
causes disrupted sleep and anxiety.

as paying attention to it could cause some people to lose
concentration on road. With modern technology, the accidents
which occur on the road do not seem to decrease but ironically,
increases at an accelerating rate. This shows that modern
technology can be detrimental for some people.
