Workload Profile
It is important that all parties use the same definitions when describing the workload the environment is
expected to support. Concurrent sessions are defined as SAS jobs or requests which are executing at the
exact same time; therefore utilizing the same hardware resources. A workload can be single or multiple
processes utilizing resources constantly or intermittently, depending up on the task being executed over a
defined period of time. Not all workloads or SAS jobs uses resources the same; therefore it is important
to understand the different job types.As end-user concurrency increases, response times may be impacted.

Note- This assume that the appropriate data management activities will happen outside of the In Memory
Products cluster and resources for the data management activities are not included in this exercise.
