Symptoms of autism in children usually

develop between the ages of 12 and 24

months. However, the signs may also

appear before or afterward and our autism

therapy techniques are very useful to put

child back on track for normal development.

 CEREBRAL PALSY SYMPTOMS
Low or high muscle tone resulting in floppiness or tightening

Stiffness or tightness of muscles.

Unable to hold their own head when lying on stomach or in a supportive sitting position

DOWN SYNDROME CAN HAVE MANY EFFECTS, IT IS VERY DIFFERENT FOR EACH

INDIVIDUAL AND REQUIRES A DIFFERENT TYPE OF DOWN SYNDROME TREATMENT.

SOME WILL GROW THEMSELVES TO LIVE COMPLETELY (INDEPENDENTLY), WHILE

OTHERS WILL NEED MORE HELP IN CARING FOR THEMSELVES. PEOPLE WITH DOWN

SYNDROME SYMPTOMS HAVE SOME PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS IN COMMON. FOR

EXAMPLE, THEY OFTEN HAVE A FLAT NOSE AND SMALL EARS.

CAUSES OF SPEECH
DELAY

Sometimes, delays and loss of speech are due to a physical disruption in the mouth, such as deformed frenulum,
lips or palate. If the speed or ability to make words and appropriate sounds is impaired, then the child may be
slow to pick up words and the ability to shape their mouth and tongue in the formation of words can be lacking.

There are other more serious concerns, which can be caused due to the neurological organization of the brain.
Neurological disorganization mainly means a lack of communication between the left and right hemisphere of the
brain.

 The Causes Of Brain Injury

We have seen the children who get hurt in utero

because of some injury or illness that mother

experienced as the baby was developing (trauma,

German measles, Rh incompatibility, hydrocephaly,

drugs, alcohol). Often problems may occur in the

first nine months that are not obvious to mother or

her physician ( oxygen deprivation, hydrocephaly).
