Objectives
Complete the following tasks throughout the exam:

On UIU Router:
• Configure DHCP and NAT Servers.
• Configure PPP with CHAP authentication
• Configure ACL
• Configure a default route
• Verify connectivity

On ISP Router:
• Configure the Serial 3/0 interface with an IP address from the given address pool.
• Change the encapsulation to frame relay.

Configuration Tasks

Configure DHCP

Configure UIU as the DHCP Server for the 192.168.100.64/26 network(UIULAB1Pool)

Configure UIU as the DHCP Server for the 192.168.100.128/26 network(UIULAB2Pool)

Exclude the necessary IP addresses from the DHCP pool.

Verify that the workstation dynamically obtained the correct configuration information and
can ping its default gateway.
Configure NAT

Configure UIU as a NAT server to statically translate the CCNA Server address
(192.168.100.66) to the first address in the NAT pool, 200.20.20.48 / 28.

Using the rest of the NAT pool, configure UIU to dynamically translate hosts that belong to the
192.168.100.64/26 (for LAB1 LAN) network and 192.168.100.128/26 (for LAB2 LAN) network.
Make sure you enable PAT so that more that one host can share the same IP address.

Use the NAT show commands to view translations and statistics.

Configure ACL

Configure ACL on UIU router for the following purpose:

1. For LAB1 deny only HTTP and allow all other traffic.
2. For LAB2 deny only telnet and allow all other traffic.
3. CCNA Server can be accessed from LAB1 only.

PPP Configuration

Configure PPP with CHAP authentication; passwords should always be “cisco” on UIU and
the ISP Routers.

Frame Relay Configuration

Configure the ISP to enable frame relay on its serial interface.

Configure the frame relay switches to create a link between the ISP and Yahoo Router.

Verify by issuing a ping from the ISP router to the Yahoo Router.

Verify Connectivity
All routers and switches should be able to ping the interfaces of the other devices.
