tracking system is the primary system which is responsible for monitoring ongoing preferred
insurance coverage on the auto and mortgage loan collaterals also offers additional services

NGLS wanted to streamline its claims management and integrate its line of business system.

Description:
Vodafone Spain has its business in Telecommunications. It provides services for
cellular/Mobile and fixed land lines in Spain. To compete into the challenging market with its
competitors, it adds numerous facilities to its products in time. To attract clients and increase
business it often provides festive offers and discounts. Hence to add the facility to its existing
features or providing new features to its products, Vodafone Spain has a tie up with IBM and
asks to make changes in its code as required. Whenever a new feature is added or existing
modified or enhanced these come to IBM as a release where before launching into the market
it is thoroughly tested. Vodafone conducts its own testing after SIT phase. After successful
testing by the client, it is finally introduced in production. Currently Vodafone use Clarify
application end to end to manage the customers their request. Due to business decision
Vodafone decided to implement Siebel application to handle the customer end to end and
replace the Clarify slowly.
Vodafone has surprised its competitors by announcing that its LTE network will go live this
week. Thus, marking a new milestone for IBM by successful launch of 4G services in Spain
and Vodafone is the first operator in Spain with 4G technology. Therefore, 4G/LTE will
substantially enhance the strategy making Vodafone a Super Mobile Operator. Project of this
magnitude required around 3 months to Design and Deliver. For this the build was completed
in just 3 weeks and the entire SIT was done within 3 weeks. Just in 2 days of deployment we
received 75% Technical OK. This is a big achievement itself.
