Background and Introduction:

Essentially, the main task that this White Paper needs to identify, analyze, discuss,

investigate and critique how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other ramifications of invasive, 21st

Century technology, like robotics, 4D and other extra neural networking usages impact the

Banking Industry, especially Global Online Banking.

This needs to be set in perspective of current IT and innovative trends, dynamic

technology- development and most of all, the qualitative, quantitative and mixed bag challenges

posed to HR Managers, consultants and Banking IT Software developers in this country.

IT Architectural Changes and their posed challenges in newer IT- dominant milieu:

Banking industry is now at the cross-roads with partnerships, mergers, amalgamations

and also hostile takeovers holding sway to gain synergetic advantages and importantly, decrease

competition and consolidate strengths. This adversely impacts not only the target firms but also

the buying or takeover banking companies.

This paper needs to consider consolidation, merger and restructuring of several banking

firms using AI, advanced IT and most of all, how newer IT trends are resisted and even

challenged by workforce and other human constituents. Besides, While IT challenges are

controllable in transactional banking milieu; this becomes more challenging for HR Directors

and Change Managers, during Change Transformational Management, when major workforce

structural changes take place which have permanent places in HR Management and pose high

risk and irreplaceable structural challenges for now and the future.
IT Management in Transformational Framework and Disruptive Technology Models need to

be provided in order to drive up challenges, issues, and barriers in terms of the following

challenges:

 Resource and machine power Mobilization


 Technology up gradation and improvements in HR in restructure banks
 Human workforce consolidation and assimilation in merger banks
 Issues caused by hardware and software technology disruption and changes in

movements and job profiling of HR duties and responsibilities


 Issues caused by downsizing, restructuring and replacing humans with machines

Impacts on HR work force:

business, keep top management apprised and informed of developments, involvement and

engagement of work force in IT change management and also assuage them of job security and

work satisfaction/fulfillment in times to come.
