This project will fundamentally change the way that HOST (HSBC Technology and Services Organization)
operates by creating an effective organization with streamlined global processes, Enabled by standard
technology. As part of this solution we will need to integrate a number of bank existing systems and a
dedicated work stream has been setup to complete this work. The aim of Velocity is to replace bank in
house systems with Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM products.

Contribution:

As Technical Architect, Integration Lead was responsible for :

• End to end delivery of Application integrations.

• Perform requirements analysis and impact assessment for integration requirements across
geographies and verticals(Functional Business units).
• Provide a best fit best solution for complex integration Interface requirements as per the HSBC
standards and collaborate with global architecture team.

of API platform for CMA (Competition and Market Authority, UK) Remedies and Platform Upgrade for
Global Business Banking Platform program (Business Internet Banking).

Contribution:

• Develop Proof of Concept for the proposed solutions

Commercial B2B group of Visa provides the platform for payments automation. This is a cluster of
several application areas consisting of Visa Payables Automation (VPA) , Card Management (CM) and
Visa Subscription Management (VSM).

VPA is a platform of Business-to-Business (B2B) payment services that automates the payment and
reconciliation for invoice based spending between buyers and suppliers. VPA is integrated with
processors FDR, TS1, TS2 and FIS. Allows multiple controls to be configured to ensure spending
management and payment types.

Subscription / enrolling into VPA is done through VSM. The interaction with Card services is done via
CM.

CSS is the platform for the Customer to get all his Insurance needs at one place for all the policies. With
Integration to policy, billing and document applications, the CSS platform offers a great tool to the

Agency Dash Board Extension (ADE) is the Entry point for accessing all services provided by Farmers
Insurance (Zurich, North America) for its Insurance Agents. The agent can navigate to Fire, Auto, Health
and life insurance portals using SSO (Single sign on) .Also ADE provides online policy submission, E-mail
notifications to DM (district managers) and agents , campaigns and mail merge to agents / customers ,
different kind of trackers to track insurance policies.

EBusiness is a cluster of applications catering to Agency Force and consumers of farmers insurances.
These include: Agency Dashboard Extension (ADE), Single Customer View (SCV), Imaging Validation ad
Reengineering (IVR), eFolio, Employee Dashboard.

Contribution:

• Gather requirements from functional/Business analyst and analysis and understand the business
requirements.
• Perform Impact analysis and provide effort estimates.
