Procedure
Step 1: Introduction: Pupils and teacher in a circle throwing a ball and quickly
answer combinations of 3 and 4 we already learnt.
The lesson starts with 5 pupils that come in front of the class wearing
hats with numbers. They become pairs summing up to 5. They also use
2 big sponge dices and they show different combinations of 5.
Step 2:
Pair work: they use their unifix cubes and they divide 5 cubes in 2
plates with different ways. We say the different ways all together.
Step 3:
Solving problems: they hear problems, see images and they write the
equation in their boards and find the solution. The students share
results with the rest of the class.
Step 4: Computer game: they hear problems and they find the answers using
addition up to 5.

Step 5: Tablets: Using Kahoot the students work in pairs and answer the
questions using their tablet.
Step 6:
The students are divided in 3 groups. Each group is working in a
different activity for more practice and evaluation.
a. Board game: each pair throw a dice and they find the solution so
they can continue with their pawn.
b. Board with magnetic numbers: they make combinations of 5.
