to ooohh and aaahh over Shiner’s pedigree. He has had half to 7/8’s brothers domi-
nate the reining and working cow horse world for the past decade. Even though he has
had no real reining or cutting training, he will spin, slide, pin his ears and work cows!
He and his colts seem to take to it like a bird dog does to going on point. To say that
Shiner is laid back would be an understatement. He has been one of our dude horses,
if you will, when novice friends come to the ranch. Since he has been finished in the SH
roping pen for several years, we only rope on him once or twice a week. Therefore, our IN
daughter Hailey, since she was seven, has been galloping him on many of the off days
ER
to keep him in shape. He is bomb proof and trustworthy. Even though he is finished on
both ends, he is much stronger on the back end, being good for any # roper from be-
ginner to professional. On the head end he would lack speed above the 13 roping. As
a stud he puts a huge hip and a pretty head on most all of his colts. 15 h., 1200 lbs.

LY BOMB-PROOF and yet has the ability to be one of the top horses at any big roping, anywhere.
Quinn started winning ropings on him only a couple of months after we started roping on him. (He
is a natural.) He is extremely cowy, as his pedigree would suggest, and he loves his job. Dan is
N not only suitable for anyone, but would make any # roper, from a complete beginner to a #10, feel
DA well-mounted. He will also be your family’s babysitter! Even though his description makes him ap-
pear to be only for low number ropers, don’t underestimate Dan as a big-time heel horse. He does

little too much horse for the woman who bought him so we had her bring him back in late spring. Quinn hauled him
this year to the junior rodeos as his first string calf horse and backup head and heel horse. He also hauled him to a
bunch of jackpots where he used him on both ends. He has really matured and seasoned a lot this year. With the
X exception of the four months he was gone after the sale, he has been on the ranch since the day he was born. He
TE has seen a lot of trailing cows, mountain trails, sorting cattle in the feedlot, branding pens, not to mention all of the
time in the arena. Since Tex was three years old, he has been one of Quinn’s favorite horses to use on the ranch.

America. He owns DEVON LANE, Panama’s father who is sire to one of this year’s grade one winners. He has also bred very successfully
into the Quarter Horse industry. DEVON LANE is out of STORM CAT, the world champion Thoroughbred running horse whose current stud

fee is $500,000. The amazing part of Panama is with all of this running genetics, Hailey, our ten-year-old goes out in the corral and catches, N

The Halls have been riding and competing for more than 40 years. They started their horse herd with a granddaughter of Steel Bars. Since they had one of the best horses around, the Halls bred the mare
to outside stallions and trained the colts themselves. Darwin has always been a natural horseman with the good sense to know that he can always learn more. They now stand a stallion by Peppy Humo

SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
PAYMENT: Terms of the sale are cash, check. Visa, or Master Card. (U.S. Funds). A 3% office processing fee will be added to all
purchases. This fee will be discounted for purchases paid by cash, or check. Registration Papers will be retained by Double Dollar
Livestock until checks clear the paying institution. Any person writing an insufficient funds check will be charged a $100 returned
check fee and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
BIDDING: The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his deci-
sion on such matters shall be final. Every effort has been made to assure accuracy in the sale catalog. However, the sale management,
auctioneers and announcers are not responsible for errors or omissions and assume no liability on its part or on the part of consignors
as to any statements made by the consignor which are printed in the catalog on behalf of the consignors. When errors or omissions
are brought to the attention of the sale management, auctioneers or announcers, or when such errors or omissions are discovered by
the sale management, announcements will be made to correct such errors or omissions. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to
the announcements made at the time of sale, as these announcements will take precedence over the printed matter in the sale catalog.
Auction will be both video and audio taped to keep accurate record of these announcements. Ring men & auctioneer will have the
right to bid on behalf of the seller to a predetermined reserve amount, should there be one. If buyers have a desire to know if a horse
failed to bring the reserve amount in order to speak with the consignor, check with the office after the sale.
BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITIES: All horses become the buyer's responsibility as soon as sold. The buyer shall sign an acknowledge-
ment of purchase, which will be brought to them. Horses may not leave the premises until settlement is made on all purchases. Buy-
ers must make arrangements for care of horses, at their own risk, until delivery is taken. We act only as an agent for consignors in
the sale. Any disputes regarding consigned horses will be between the buyer and seller. However, if a dispute should arise in the first
ten days after the sale and parties cannot come to an agreement, both parties consent to allow Double Dollar Livestock to act as sole
mediator in settling the dispute. The decision of Double Dollar Livestock shall be final.
LIABILITY: Any person attending this sale does so at his own risk.. Neither the owners, sale management, South Point Equestrian
Center, South Point Hotel and Casino, Double Dollar Livestock, nor any other person connected with this sale assumes any liability,
legal or otherwise for any accident which may occur.
GUARANTEE: To the best of our knowledge, every horse in this sale is free of disease or defect and is sound. Known defect(s) will
be called at sale time. Horses are guaranteed sound on sale day, but this does not guarantee the future health and soundness of a horse.
All prospective buyers are cautioned and hereby advised to examine horses thoroughly before purchasing.
HEALTH: Health of the horses is excellent. Individual health papers with a Coggins Test will be issued for shipment in the US.
REGISTRATION & TRANSFER: It will be the responsibility of the buyer to transfer the horse registration into their own name. The
AQHA paper and transfer form will be sent by mail after funds have cleared or may be picked up in the sale office if paid for by cash.
INSURANCE: Please inquire if you are interested.
TRANSPORTATION: Delivery arrangements of purchased stock are the responsibility of the buyer; however, we will be glad to
assist. There will be a couple of transportation companies on site on sale day. If you so desire, Double Dollar can take your stock to
Holden, Utah for transportation arrangements to be made from there. An insurance waiver is required. There will be no charge for
transportation to Holden, but boarding will be $5.00/day until delivery is taken.
ABSENTEE BIDS: Anyone wishing to bid who is unable to attend the sale should do their best to make arrangements for another
individual to do their bidding. If you are unable to find someone to bid for you, we will take telephone bids and find someone to bid
in your place. Arrangements for phone bids will only be taken by phone until three hours before the sale starts. Sale day phone num-

REMOVAL OF HORSES: All horses must be removed from the auction sale grounds by no later than 8:00 p.m. on sale day unless
special arrangements are made. Failure to remove the horse for any reason will obligate the buyer to pay all costs associated with
board and transportation of the horse.
