Subject: Mishandling of trophies recovered: Forest Department official protecting offenders.

Greetings,

Kindly refer to Gujarat Police reply read with the report of Rajkot Forest Department & unlawfull
wild animal trophies declaration as dictated by Forest officials concorned instread taking action
because declaration period was valid only 180 days, after the Notification during 2003 before 16
year, hence unlawful declaration may kindly be treated as confession of crime against IPC read
with the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 because IPC handled as per CrPC, its very funny that
accused submitted declaration of unlawful tiger trophies in the custody of Rajkot Forest official,
their integrity became doubtful needs immediate legal action involving them in crime as criminal
conspiracy.

Hence, NTCA with WCCB may consider for appropriate direction to the Chief Wildlife Warden
with Commissioner of Police at Rajkot to lodge FIR imposing 120-B with many other sections of the
laws of land besides placing concerned official under suspension, imposing charge sheet.

Subject: Zero FIR for the violation of different sections of IPC with Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

Greetings,

Kindly refer to the discussion on cell No. 9426168456 of Shri Purshotam Das Shiyani, ACF, Rajkot
that many trophies were recovered but No FIR has been lodged till today because recovered
trophies seems to be very old, before 1972 but he was not confirmed about declaration of these
trophies & their ownerships.

It is humbly submitted that:

Many scheduled one trophy, skin, horn with head were recovered from the premises of
Mahant Shri Nirmalananda Saraswati, Hariharanand Ji Shanayastha Ashram, Sardhar
under the jurisdiction of Aaji Dem Police Station, District Rajkot.

Whereas, being cognizable offense in legal terms, Zero FIR needs to be lodged for the violation of
section 39 read with section 51 & undeclared scheduled one wildlife trophies with 188, 120-B, 409,
428, 429 IPC against the custodians of recovered trophies & forward to the Rajkot Police.

I appreciate tireless services of a young man Bhavin G. Ghiyad, Wildlife & Nature Welfare Trust
