Excess Advancement in technology is a threat to humanity

Our world is entering a period of truly transformative change, and

many of us will be surprised by the scale and pace of
developments we simply hadn’t anticipated. Technological
advances have provided immense improvements in our lives but
often with a hidden cost. Even the historic skills of bronze and
iron working were driven by a desire not only for ploughs and
tools, but for better weapons of war. This is still the case with
modern technologies.
Nowadays people are only concern with the present, self- interest
and want to make more money out of the modern technologies.
Nobody is concern about the future generation. Science and
technology has given enough comfort to the lives of people and I
feel, excess advancement in technology is not required anymore
because it’s a great threat to humanity. Due to this modern
technology people are losing their own culture, traditions, values
and even their real happiness. People are so busy that they don't
even get time to talk with their family, friends and even the loved
ones.
Economically, To a larger extent modern technology is the cause
of unemployment and the issue of jobs. The population of the
world is increasing day by day but the demand of jobs is
decreasing at a higher rate because of the advanced technology.
At a higher pace human workers are being replaced by the
advanced machines and robots. A time will come when the
humans will no longer have any purpose to serve in the world,
which will be a very dangerous scenario. There would be turmoil
everywhere in the world.
Environmentally, The high pace of industrialization development
is having a huge impact on the environment such as climate
change, global warming, pollution and disturbance in the coral
life. Also, given rise to many fatal diseases and other serious
health related issues.
Science and technology has led to the creation of the atomic bomb
and other dangerous weapons of mass destruction. Advanced
technology has made the complete destruction of humanity
possible. Don't you think it's a threat to humanity? In this
technological era if World War III unfortunately happened then a
single organism will not be able to sustain in this planet. The
emerging technologies are the artificial intelligence (AI) and
robotics comparatively has more negative consequences. I think
we don't need AI and robotics in this beautiful planet because
these will serve as weapons for mass destruction in future.
Nowadays, I have seen that the happiness has disappeared from
the people's life as they always look in stress, tense, depressed
and peoples are becoming lazy because of the modern technology.
We should focus on sustainable development to save our planet.
Instead of searching life in Mars we should try to make and our
own planet beautiful for that we have to maintain the balance
with the nature. The immense pleasure, happiness, joy and peace
we get from the nature can't be replaced by the technology.
