Overview
Looking to cross the iconic Preikestolen-hike off your bucket list? We offer a comfortable
and easy transfer to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Norway. A bus transfer
from central Stavanger, brings you to and from the hike’s starting point.
Preikestolen is a glacial rock formation towering 604m above the Lysefjord. The hike is a
challenging trail, climbing 350m in height and 7,6km in stretch, taking you to the iconic
mountain plateau. Back and forth, the hike takes approx. 4 hrs, but take your time, there is
plenty of beautiful spots to rest along the way. From the plateau at the top, you will have
a breath-taking view of the Lysefjord. Keep your camera at hand, you will take some
amazing photos.
Back on the ground, the return bus will pick you up from the same place it let you off. The
bus operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. In the unlikely event that the bus is full, you
will have to wait for the next one. There are several daily departures between Stavanger and
Preikestolen.
