****Bronze bodies shall only be selected if the service conditions are extremely corrosive (untreated seawater, high ammonia/TDS/chlorides).

Note 1 For the the purchaser: The use of an adapter may cause the BCV burry line to be elevated above finished ground level; this installation will defeat the purpose of the BCV. If this is the
case, it is required to modify the 4" or 8" undergorund riser flange at site to be a standard 6" ANSI flange to avoid using any adapters.
For the Vendors: Vendor shall indicate if the fire hydrant base flange is other than the standard flange (Standard : 6" ANSI with 8 holes).
