SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1

Neuerungen und Änderungen

Folgende Verbesserungen wurden realisiert:
• Mit SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1:
Modbus Master
- Sollwertbefehle im Format 32-Bit Integer werden nun korrekt übertragen.
OPC Server
- Die Applikation OPC Server kann nun gleichzeitig auf dem Full Server und den DIPs konfiguriert
werden.
SICAM PAS/PQS UI – Configuration
- Der Import von ICD-Dateien ist nun für IEC 61850 Edition 1 und Edition 2 möglich, auch wenn der
Parameter bufOvfl keinem Report Control Block zugeordnet ist.

Hinweise zur Benutzung / Einschränkungen

Für die Installation des Hotfixes muss SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 auf Ihrem Rechner installiert sein.

Kompatibilität
SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1 ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz mit SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 geeignet.

Lieferumfang
SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.zip enthält die Dateien:
• Readme_SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.pdf
• Readme_SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.htm
• SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.exe
• SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.exe.config

Installation
Die Installation des Hotfixes muss bei einer verteilten Anlagenkonfiguration auf allen Rechnern durchgeführt
werden, auch auf DIPs (Device Interface Processor) und bei redundanten Systemen auf beiden Rechnern.
► Entpacken Sie die Datei SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.zip in ein beliebiges Verzeichnis auf Ihrer
Festplatte.
► Beenden Sie alle SICAM PAS/PQS-Komponenten (z.B. SICAM PAS/PQS UI – Configuration und
SICAM PAS/PQS UI – Operation).
► Starten Sie den SICAM PAS/PQS Hotfix Installer durch Ausführen der Datei
SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.exe. Dazu benötigen Sie Administratorrechte.
► Starten Sie die Installation des Hotfixes mit einem Klick auf Aktualisieren und folgen Sie den
Anweisungen des Hotfix Installers.

Der Hotfix Installer richtet selbstständig das Hotfix auf dem System ein. Dazu prüft er die notwendigen
Voraussetzungen (z.B. installierte SICAM PAS/PQS-Version), stoppt und startet Dienste, entpackt und

kopiert die neuen Dateien, legt ein Backup der ersetzten Dateien an und registriert die notwendigen
Komponenten.

Im Verzeichnis
%ProgramData% Siemens Energy\HotfixInstaller\SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1 finden Sie
ausführliche Log-Dateien, im Unterverzeichnis SICAM_PAS_PQS_8.6.6_Backup eine Sicherungskopie
der ersetzten Dateien und im Unterverzeichnis SICAM_PAS_PQS_V08.06_HF1_Update die Dateien
aus dem Hotfix.

Inbetriebnahme
Alle Änderungen durch das Hotfix sind nun aktiv.

Deinstallation
Das Hotfix kann nicht einzeln deinstalliert werden.

Readme / Installation Instructions for

SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1

New Features and Modifications

The following improvements have been made:
• With SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1:
Modbus Master
- Set point commands in 32-bit integer format are now transmitted correctly.
OPC Server
- The OPC Server application can now be configured simultaneously on the Full Server and on DIPs.
SICAM PAS/PQS UI – Configuration
- The import of ICD files is now possible for IEC 61850 Edition 1 and Edition 2, also if the bufOvfl
parameter is not assigned to a report control block.

Notes on Use / Restrictions

To install this hotfix, SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 must be installed on your computer.

Compatibility
SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06 HF1 is only suitable for use with SICAM PAS/PQS V8.06.

Installation
The hotfix must be installed on all the computers of a distributed system configuration, also on DIPs (Device
Interface Processors) and on both computers of a redundant system.
► Unzip SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.zip to any directory on your hard drive.
► Close all open SICAM PAS/PQS components (e.g. SICAM PAS/PQS UI – Configuration and SICAM
PAS/PQS UI – Operation).
► To start the SICAM PAS/PQS Hotfix Installer, execute the SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1.exe file
(administrator rights required).
► To start the installation of the hotfix, click Update and follow the instructions of the Hotfix Installer.

The Hotfix Installer automatically installs the hotfix on the system. It checks whether the necessary
requirements are fulfilled (e.g. SICAM PAS/PQS version installed), stops and starts services, unzips and
copies the new files, creates a backup of the replaced files, and registers the components required.

In the %ProgramData% Siemens Energy\HotfixInstaller\SICAM_PAS_PQS_V8.06_HF1 directory you

find detailed log files; in the SICAM_PAS_PQS_8.6.6_Backup subdirectory you find a backup copy of
the replaced files, and in the SICAM_PAS_PQS_V08.06_HF1_Update subdirectory you find the files
from the hotfix.

Commissioning
All the changes of the hotfix are now active.

Uninstallation
The hotfix cannot be uninstalled individually.
