out. Each group will give feedback to other groups. The last activity will be a game which is charades, they will
try to communicate the occupation to the others.

Summary
In this lesson, first of all students will learn occupations and related words via concept map reflected on the
board and then they will listen to the Prezi presentation about how to talk about occupations. After they have
learned how to express one’s job, they will prepare a role play and after that they will play a game. At the end
of the class they will have a quiz.
Measurement & Evaluation
At the end of the class the teacher will give a short quiz which includes a matching the occupations with the
pictures question and a filling in the gaps question and also, the teacher will evaluate the students throughout
the lesson for example; while they are acting out their play the teacher will take notes of these.

The teacher will divide the students into groups consisting three students and distributes the handout
including gap-filling activities related to time, and dates. Students will discuss the topic and ask for help from
teacher when they have difficulty. The last activity will be a game about asking personal questions. Every
student will choose an occupation and other students will ask personal questions to find the occupation
chosen.

Summary
In this lesson, teacher will tell the subject (time, dates, and personal questions) and then she/he shows two
videos related to these topics. She/he divides students into groups like 3 people and asks them to discuss and
consult the teacher if the help needed. After that, students will play a game about asking personal questions,
and they will have quiz individually consisting all topics from beginning of the lesson. Finally, the teacher will
give a homework which is interview.

Measurement & Evaluation


When students discuss the topic, teacher observes their mistakes in the use of time and dates, and she/he
evaluate them throughout the lesson. Besides, the teacher evaluates the students’ knowledge about personal
questions throughout the game and she/ he measures whether they understand the topic or not from the
homework.

Summary
This class is planned for revision and summary. Their previous knowledge about the occupations will be
tested with a Kahoot quiz, and a revision will be done with Piktochart. Then, the students will apply what
they have learned so far, they synthesize and create their own “ideal professions” based on their own
interests
Measurement & Evaluation
Along with the Kahoot Quiz, the activity called “create your own profession.”
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Students completing the Kahoot Quiz totally correct will

the ideal profession is expected to have at least 5
features. Students will be assessed by their lexical choice
and accurate grammar.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Firstly the Kahoot Quiz and Piktochart will be introduced. With Piktochart students will remember the
previous lessons’ grammar structures and with the quiz, they will remember the vocabulary items. This is
planned to take 1 class hour. In the second-class hour, students will participate in “create your own
profession” activity which is planned to take an hour. If any technical problems will arise, in the first session
create your own occupation activity is implemented, then the homework that is planned to be given can be
done in the class. Students can compare each other’s’ occupations and discuss them.
