Alladin

A magician read about an old lamp. Rub this, he read and a genie appears. He can do
anything for you.His magic ball said. The lamp is in a cave in China. And only this boy
can get itThe magician went to China to look for the boy. And a year later he found
him.That`s Aladdn a girl told him. His father is dead. He and his mother are poor
because Aladdin doesnt do any workThe magician visits Aladdins house. He smiled at
Aladdin`s mother and said. I am your husbands brother, I can help you! Look! Here is
some moneyOh Aladdin! Cried his mother, This is your uncle. Run and get some
foodYour son must have work said the magician He can work for meAladdins mother
was happy to hear this. But Aladdin wasnt happy because he didnt like work.The
magician took Aladdin to the hills. He did some magic and ground opened up.Open that
door he said to Aladdin.Theres a cave of gold down there said the magician. Go through
that cave, but dont take any gold. Then theres a garden to a small cave. Theres an old
lamp there. Get it for me.Are you afraid? Here! Put this ring on your finger. It can help
you. Now, go Aladdin went down and got the lamp.He didnt take any gold. But he took
some strange fruit from the garden.Uncle, can you help me? He called.Wheres the
lamp? said the magician angrily.Give me the lamp. The lampNow suddenly Aladdin was
afraid of his uncle and he didnt want to go backStay down there, then! cried the
magician.Bong! And he closed the door of the cave.It was dark. Aladdin cried and
rubbed his hands. By accident he rubbed the ring and suddenly a big red genie
appeared.I am the genie of the ring, he said. What do you want? I want to go home
Aladdin cried.And suddenly he was at home in bed. His mother came in and saw the
lamp.Oh! I can sell this to buy food she thought. But I must clean it first.Aladdin`s
mother rubbed the lamp. And a very big orange genie appeared.I am the genie of the
lamp he said. What do you want?Oh! Cried Aladdin. get us something to eat!The genie
vanished and come back with silver trays of wonderful food.That bad man was not your
uncle said Aladdins mother. Put that old lamp away. We can sell these traysAladdin took
the silver trays to the market and remembered the fruit.He ran and got it and a man told
him. Mmm these are jewels! And they are big and very expensive.Suddenly everybody
was quiet. Princess Zadia walked past.Oh she is beautiful said Aladdin.He ran home to
tell his mother.Mother I love princess Zadia I must marry her or die! Oh please mother ,
go and ask the King! Take him all these expensive jewels said Aladdin.So Aladdins
mother went to the palace and waited. At last the King saw her.Oh please sir. My son
wants to marry your daughter. Look sir! He gives you all these big jewels, sir Said the
mother to the King.Very nice. But I must think about it. Come back in three months said
the King.Aladdins mother came back three months later and the King thought, No! that
poor woman again!And the King said Tell your son this. I want forty more trays of
jewels. And I want a gold palace for my daughter, next to my palace. Then he can marry
her. I am sorry said Aladdins mother and she told him about jewels and the gold
palace.But Aladdin smiled. He took out the magic lamp and rubbed it.Forty trays of
jewels, please Aladdin told the genie. And a gold palace in the kings garden, next to the
Kings palace.I want new clothes, a White horse, and a hundred men to go with me.
They must all carry bags of moneyYes, you can have it, said the genie.And so Aladdin
went to the palace on a beautiful White horse. His men gavemoney to the poor people in
the streets.Oh! Who is that prince? everybody asked.Where`s the new palace? said the
King.Look out of the window, Aladdin said. And there was a big gold palace in the
garden. What could the King say?All right, you can marry my daughter said the
KingAnd so Aladdin married Princess Zadia. They were very happy. And every day
Aladdins men gave food and money to all the poor people in the streets.But far away a
bad magician saw something in the stars.Aladdin is alive and he has the lamp! I must
get it. I must have that lamp!So he dressed as a poor man and went to China again.
There he asked, Do you know somebody called Aladdin?Oh, yes! Everybody said. He
married Princess Zadia. He lives in a big gold palace. He comes out everyday on his
horse.The magician went to the market to buy some new lamps. Then he walked up and
down near the palace and called out, New lamps for old! New lamps for old!He didn`t
want any money so people laughed at him. But some of them ran to give him their old
lamps and get nice new, clean lamps.Princess Zadia saw all this from a window
palace.Aladdin has a dirty old lamp she laughed. Quick! Take it out to that strange man
and get Aladdin a nice new, clean lamp.So the girl ran out with the old magic lamp. The
magician knew it well. He gave the girl a new lamp and ran away with it.He rubbed it
and a genie appearedTake Aladdins palace away the magician asked And everything in
it!Then Aladdin`s palace vanished.Later that day, Aladdin came back.Where is my
daughter? Asked the King?You must die for this Aladdin!The King`s men tied Aladdin`s
hands with rope. By accident the rope rubbed the ring on Aladdin`s finger.And the big
genie appered- appeared.Quick! Take me to Princess Zadia! Aladdin said.Oh! Aladdin,
cried the princess. My love! She told me everything And now the magician wants me to
marry him she said.Where is the lamp? asked Aladdin.He carries it with him under his
coatListen! Be nice to him, smile Said Aladdin to the princess.Give him a drink
tonightCome! Drink with me! said Zadia to the magician. Ladies, sing pleaseThe
princess and the magician - magician sat and listened.Then the princess Zadia smiled.
She gave the magician a drink.Aladdin quietly put something into the drink.The
magician drank it and went to sleep.Tie him up and take him out of the palace!Aladdin
told his men. Then he rubbed the magic lamp and the genie appeared.Quick! Take this
palace and everything in it back to China Aladdin cried.Yes sir! said the genieAnd so
the King got his doughter daughter back Aladdin got his lovely princess, his lovely
wife. And they never saw that bad magician again.

madre entró y vio la lámpara. ¡Oh! Puedo venderla para comprar comida, pensó. Pero
primero debo limpiarla. La madre de Aladino frotó la lámpara. Y un gran genio naranja
apareció. Yo soy el genio de la lámpara, dijo. El genio desapareció y regresó con
bandejas de plata de comida maravillosa. Ese hombre malo no era tu tío, dijo la madre
de Aladino. Guarda esa vieja lámpara. Podemos vender estas bandejas. Aladino llevó las
bandejas de plata al mercado y se acordó de la fruta. Mmm estas son joyas! Y son
grandes y muy caras. De repente todo el mundo se quedó callado. La princesa Zadia
pasó por delante. Oh, es hermosa, dijo Aladino. Corrió a casa para decírselo a su madre.
Oh, por favor, madre, ve y pregúntale al Rey! Llévale todas estas joyas caras, dijo
Aladino. Entonces la madre de Aladino fue al palacio y esperó. Por fin el Rey la vio. Por
favor, señor. Mi hijo quiere casarse con su hija. ¡Mire, señor! Él le da todas estas
grandes joyas, señor. La madre se lo dijo al Rey. Muy bonito. Pero debo pensarlo.

joyas y del palacio de oro. Pero Aladino sonrió. Sacó la lámpara mágica y la frotó.
Cuarenta bandejas de joyas, por favor Aladino le dijo al genio. Y un palacio de oro en el
jardín de los reyes, junto al palacio de los reyes. Quiero ropa nueva, un caballo blanco y
cien hombres que me acompañen. Todos deben llevar bolsas de dinero. Sí, puedes
tenerlo, dijo el genio. Y así Aladino fue al palacio en un hermoso caballo blanco. Sus
hombres regalaron dinero a la gente pobre de las calles. ¿Quién es ese príncipe? Todos
preguntaron. ¿Dónde está el nuevo palacio? dijo el Rey. Mira por la ventana, dijo
Aladino. Y había un gran palacio de oro en el jardín. ¿Qué podría decir el Rey? Muy
bien, puedes casarte con mi hija dijo el Rey. Y así Aladino se casó con la Princesa
Zadia. Fueron muy felices. Y cada día los hombres de Aladino daban comida y dinero a
toda la gente pobre de las calles. Pero a lo lejos un mal mago vio algo en las estrellas.
¡Aladino está vivo y tiene la lámpara! Debo conseguirla. ¡Debo tener esa lámpara! Así
que se vistió como un hombre pobre y se fue a China de nuevo. Allí preguntó:
"¿Conoces a alguien llamado Aladino?" ¡Oh, sí! Todo el mundo dijo. Se casó con la
princesa Zadia. Vive en un gran palacio de oro. Sale todos los días en su caballo. El
mago fue al mercado a comprar unas lámparas nuevas. Luego caminó de arriba a abajo
cerca del palacio y gritó: "¡Lámparas nuevas para los viejos! No quería dinero, así que
la gente se reía de él. Pero algunos corrieron a darle sus lámparas viejas y a comprar
lámparas nuevas y limpias. La princesa Zadia vio todo esto desde una ventana del
palacio. Aladino tiene una lámpara vieja y sucia y se rió. ¡Rápido! Llévasela a ese
extraño hombre y dale a Aladino una lámpara nueva y limpia. El mago lo sabía bien. Le
dio a la chica una nueva lámpara y se escapó con ella. La frotó y un genio apareció.
Llévese el palacio de Aladino, el mago preguntó y todo lo que había en él. Luego el
palacio de Aladino desapareció. Más tarde ese día, Aladino regresó. ¿Dónde está mi
hija? Preguntó el Rey... ¡Debes morir por este Aladino! Los hombres del Rey ataron las
manos de Aladino con una cuerda. Por accidente la cuerda frotó el anillo en el dedo de
Aladino. Y el gran genio apareció. ¡Rápido! Llévame con la Princesa Zadia! Aladino
dijo. ¡Oh! Aladino, gritó la princesa. ¡Mi amor! Ella me dijo todo. Y ahora el mago
quiere que me case con él. ¿Dónde está la lámpara? preguntó Aladino. La lleva bajo su
abrigo. ¡Escucha! Sé amable con él, sonríe. Le dijo Aladino a la princesa. Dale un trago
esta noche. ¡Ven! Bebe conmigo! dijo Zadia al mago. Señoras, canten por favorLa
princesa y el mago - el mago se sentaron y escucharon. Entonces la princesa Zadia
sonrió. Le dio un trago al mago. Aladino tranquilamente puso algo en la bebida. El
mago lo bebió y se durmió. Átelo y sáquelo del palacio! dijo Aladino a sus hombres.
Luego frotó la lámpara mágica y el genio apareció. ¡Rápido! Lleva este palacio y todo
lo que hay en él de vuelta a China. Y nunca más vieron a ese mago malo.
