● The visual aide should be completed AFTER the following items are 
complete: 
○ All research 
○ Planning Sheet 
○ Outline 
○ Notecards 
 
● All Visual elements are clear and easy to read. 
● All information included supports the speaker’s message without 
being distracting. 
● All three big ideas are represented.  
● No more than five words per slide, including graphs/charts/images 
with lists 
● At least one new image per slide.  
● Links to each image on the last slide  
○ Be sure to link to the actual source, not to Google Images.
