I. LESSON OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

1. Describe the music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar

2. Identify the different instrumental music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar
3. Enumerate the different elements of music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar
4. Express the distinct characteristics of each music.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

1. Topic: Music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar

2. Reference: Experiencing the World of MAPEH 8
3. Materials: Textbook, Board and chalk & laptop

III. METHOD AND PROCEDURE

1. Method: lecture and discussion

2. Preparation: checking of attendance
3. Motivation: Title song game
4. Discussion
a. Let the students share their ideas about the music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar
b. Discuss the importance of their music.
c. Describe how to use the instrument of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar
d. Enumerate and show pictures of different instruments of each countries

IV. EVALUATION

The students will identify the pictures if it is an instrument of Thailand, Cambodia or Myanmar

V. ASSIGNMENT

Compare the similarities and differences between the music of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar

1. Define the different Philippine indigenous musical instruments

2. Describe the sound of the different instruments
3. Show their talents in playing an instruments
4. Boost their self confidence in playing instruments

II. SUBJECT MATTER

1. Topic: Philippine Indigenous Musical Instruments

2. Reference: Experiencing the World of MAPEH 7
3. Materials: Textbook, Board and chalk, instruments(ukulele, mini piano, lyre, drums)

III. METHOD AND PROCEDURE

1. Method: lecture and discussion

2. Preparation: checking of attendance
3. Motivation: Guess the sound of instruments
4. Discussion
a. Ask the students if they know how to play any musical instruments
b. Discuss the different Philippine Indigenous musical instruments
c. Explain how to use each instruments (by air, chords, tapping)
d. Give other examples of instruments used around the world.

IV. EVALUATION

The students will be divided into groups. Each group should play any musical instrument in front of the
class.

V. ASSIGNMENT

Write the importance of musical instruments in everyday life.

2. KAGAMITAN: Aklat, pisara, chalk
3. PINAGKUHANAN: Sulyap sa Kasaysayan ng Daigdig 8 (Bustamante).

III. PAMAMARAAN

1. PANIMULANG GAWAIN
Pagganyak:
a. Itanong kung ano ang pagkakaalam nyo sa pinagmulan ng kontinente.

2. PAGLINANG NG GAWAIN
Talakayan:
a. Ipaliwanag ang teoryang pinagmulan ng mga kontinente.
b. Ipatukoy sa mga mag-aaral ang ibat ibang kontinente sa ating daigdig.

IV. PAGTATAYA

Sasagutan ng mga mag-aaral ang inihanda ng guro na gawain (aklat).

V. TAKDANG ARALIN

Magbigay ng tig-dalawang bansa sa bawat kontinente maliban sa Antartica.

2. Malaman kung pano mapapangalagaan o maprepreserba an gating likas na yaman
3. Malaman ang mga halimbawa ng yamang lupa, yamang dagat, yamang mineral at yamang
gubat.

II. NILALAMAN

1. PAKSA: Ibat –ibang likas na yaman ng Asya

2. KAGAMITAN: Aklat, pisara, chalk
3. PINAGKUHANAN: ASYA (Tiamson, So).

III. PAMAMARAAN

1. PANIMULANG GAWAIN
Pagganyak:
a. Itanong sa mga mag-aaral kung ano ang ibat-ibang likas na yaman sa Asya.

2. PAGLINANG NG GAWAIN
Talakayan:
a. Ilarawan ang mga likas na yaman sa Asya at paraan kung paano ito maaalagaan
b. Talakayin ang mga ibat-ibang likas na yaman na matatagpuan sa Asya
c. Tukuyin kung saan matatagpuan ang mga sikat na likas na yaman sa Asya

IV. PAGTATAYA

Magbibigay ng mga halimbawa ng mabuti at nakakasama sa ating likas na yaman.
