ORDER:

In exercise of the powers delegated in the Government Order 1st cited, the
candidates mentioned in the Annexure who were initially appointed as
Assistant Surgeon on lO(a) (i) basis and who have been qualified in the Special
Qualifying Examination conducted by MRB during 2016 were appointed under
rule 21 (a) of the Special rules of Tamil Nadu Medical Services.

2. In pursuance of the orders issued in Government letter 7th cited and

under Section. 28( 1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants. (Conditions of
Service) Act, 2016 the services of the Assistant surgeons mentioned in the
annexure are regularized with effect from the date of their joining duty in Tamil
Nadu Medical Services. They are now appointed on regular basis in Category 2
of Class I, Branch I Medical of the Tamil Nadu Medical Services with effect from
the dates noted against their names.

3. They will be placed below the junior most Assistant Surgeon appointed
as per MRB 2013 and ,2015 batch selections.

4. They are deemed to have been placed on probation for a total period of
two years within a continuous period of three years.

5. The Assistant Surgeons who do not possess adequate knowledge 111

Tamil have to pass second ciass language
_ test (Full test) in Tamil within the
period of probation if they have not passed the same till date.

6. All the Assistant Surgeons mentioned in the Annexure should pass the
Account Test for Executive Officers and Tamil Nadu Medical Code within the
stipulated time as per special rules.

The receipt of the reference should be acknowledged at once.
