Definition of Vehicle

Definition of Vehicle:
1. "Power driven vehicle" means any self-propelled vehicle designed and
constructed to be used on the road and having at least two wheels.

2. "Trailer" means any non-self propelled vehicle, which is designed and


constructed to be towed by a power driven vehicle;

3. "Vehicle" means any power driven vehicle or trailer;

4. "Vehicle combination" means any ensemble constituted by a power


driven vehicle coupled to one or more trailer(s);

Assignment/Activities for Lecture-1
1. Write down the chemical formulae for different hydrocarbon fuels
used in automobile.

2. Note down the plate on the rear of the carriage containers loaded on
trucks and understand the information mentioned. You also need to
take the snaps of the specification plate.

3. Write down the name of the leading auto-manufacturers of the


world and their flagship vehicles brand and their respective logos.

4. Write down the short history of the automobile. You need to


provide the history in the soft copy (Power-point slides) and it must
includes more visuals than text.
