 Mounting Foot to SRM Rail 2

Start by installing a foot at the first truss, then another

at the last truss (first/last truss for the length of rail
being used). A chalk line may be required to ensure
the rail lines up properly. A length of rail can then be
installed at the desired height.
Now you have a level rail even if the roof itself is not.
The rest of the feet can then be installed.

Push the Roll-in-Nut into the rail with you're thumb

and slide it into the approximate position. Thread
the M8 x 16mm Bolt into the Roll-in-Nut just enough
so it stays. You can then slide the SRM Rail onto the
foot and torque the bolt at the desired height.

Splice piece is rotated 180 and

flipped upside down so that it can
slide into the adjacent rails.

The splice piece has 2 pre-drilled holes through

it; these holes are used with the Bolt Cleat and
an M8 x 40mm bolt. The bolt is tightened
against the adjacent rail so that the splice can
