4. If you have a new phone, a phone that has never been activated, follow the instructions below:

Press ## followed by the one-time 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section, on the
Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. Example 6-digit code: ##123456#. The last #
entered will not show on the display.

If you have a previously activated phone, a phone that is new to you, but not brand new, follow the
instructions below:

Press ## followed by the secondary 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section, on the
Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. Example 6-digit code: ##123456#. The last #
entered will not show on the display.

5. In the MDN Service Program screen, select Edit.

6. Enter your 10-digit phone number from the Programming Instructions section on the Activate
your new phone page.

7. Select OK.

8. Enter the 10-digit MSID number from the Programming Instructions section on the Activate
your new phone page.

9. Select OK.

10. Select Done. The phone will automatically turn off and then turn back on again.

After the phone restarts, programming will be complete. Expect to wait up to four hours for your phone to be
ready for regular use.

11. After four hours, press the Menu/OK key to access the main menu, and then select Web to
complete the activation of the Web service.
