Monthly Activity Report

Activity: Date:April 2019

Last April 1, 2019(Monday), the barangay Helen

conducted their basketball championship game at
barangay Helen MPB.

Last April 3, 2019(Wednesday), the barangay officials

together with the SK officials conducted a bingo game
that has been participated by the different barangay in
Larena and all the people in our barangay Helen.

Last April 4-5, 2019(Thursday and Friday), the

barangay Helen celebrated their annual fiesta
celebration. The event was done successfully.

Last April 6, 2019(Saturday), the barangay officials of

barangay Helen were able to attend the Canoan
Reinforced Inter-Barangay Volleyball Tournament
Opening Salvo. Right after the salvo, a game was done.

Last April 13-14, 2019(Saturday and Sunday), the

Siquijor Youth Football Club in cooperation with LGU in
Larena held its 1st Larena Football Cup. The tournament
was done successfully.

Last April 14-16, 2019(Sunday- Tuesday), there was a

facililtators training done to the selected SK Chairmen in
each municipalities.

Last April 21, 2019(Sunday), the SK Chairmen of the

municipality of Larena participated its first cleanup drive
in barangay Taculing. A few were not able to attend due
to valid excuses.

Last April 22, 2019(Monday), the SKPF President held

its first Provincial SK Conference which she had
discussed as to how to make use of the SK Fund 2019.
Monthly Regular session in the Barangay

Objectives:
 To fulfill the mandated SK youth empowerment and development
programs/projects/activities under SK Reform Act 2015 which are aligned in the
Philippine Youth Development Plan
 To fully acquaint ourselves to the SK duties and responsibilities towards the realization
of the Philippines 2040 vision
 To realize the importance of saving our mother earth through the tree growing activity
and coastal clean-up drive

Accomplishments/Highlights:
 We were able to conduct a championship game in our barangay which made our
youth active.
 We have conducted our annual fiesta celebration with the following competition;
Folk Dance Contest, Reyna Helena 2019 and Miss Helen 2019.
 We’re able to witness the 1st Larena Football Cup which made the youth in Larena
mentally and physically active.

Lessons Learned:
 We learned that in conducting or implementing such activities, coordination and
linkages must be well established.
 Participation from all Sangguniang Kabataan and other participants is important
for the successful conduct of the activities.
