Shimla-2, the 26th May 2012

GAD-B(A)1-2/2003 (Sirmour).—Whereas, the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide

notification No. GAB-1A (1)29/85 dated: 12-1-1990 had ordered creation of a Sub Tehsil Pajhauta
with headquarter at Sanaura in District Sirmour.

And whereas Government of Himachal Pradesh vide letter No.: GAB-1A(1)4/89 dated: 5-4-
1990 stayed the operationalization of the newly created administrative units after the issue of
notification of Lok Sabha Elections, which included newly created sub tehsil Pajhauta in Distt.
Sirmour.

And whereas the above Sub-Tehsil could not be made functional thereafter on account of
conflicting demands of the local people regarding location of the headquarter of the newly created
sub-thesil and imposed stay continued as such.

In the background of the above situation, the entire matter was reviewed by the Government
and accordingly the Governor of Himachal Pradesh in exercise of powers conferred by Section 6 of
the Himachal Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1954 read with Section 20 of the Himachal Pradesh
General Clauses Act, 1968 is pleased to withdraw / rescind the Notitication No. GAB-1A (1)29/85
dated 12-1-1990 issued regarding creation of Sub-Tehsil Pajhota in District Sirmour.

Ordinary) dated 11.05.1973, by making amendments in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative
Service (Second Amendment), Rules, 2010 and Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (Second
Amendment), Rules, 2011, notified vide this Department’s Notifications of even number dated 16th
November, 2010 and 31st May, 2011 and published in Rajpatra (Extra Ordinary) dated 22nd
November, 2010 and 2nd June, 2011, respectively namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal
Pradesh Administrative Service (First Amendment), Rules, 2012.
(2) For the existing provision of sub-rule (2) of Rule 1 of Himachal Pradesh
Administrative Service (Second Amendment), Rules, 2010 and Himachal Pradesh Administrative
Service (Second Amendment), Rules, 2011, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(2) These rules shall come into force with effect from 1st January, 2014”

Cancelletion Order of Hotel

Shimla, the 19th March, 2012

No. 15-61/99-DTO-SML-1759-61.—Whereas Hotel "Vainkunth" at The Mall Shimla,

District Shimla, H.P. vide registration No. 15-61/99-DTO-SML-504 dated 5-7-1999 under the
Himachal Pradesh Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1988.

Whereas the proprietor of the above Hotel has failed to comply with the provisions of
under section 30(g) & 30 (d) of The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act,
2002.

Therefore, I, Surinder Justa, District Tourism Development Officer, Shimla, Division in

exercise of the power vested in me under section 30 of The Himachal Pradesh Tourism
Development and Registration Act, 2002, hereby order to remove the name of the aforesaid Hotel
known as "Vainkunth" at The Mall Shimla, District Shimla, H.P. from the register and cancel its
certificate of registration with immediate effect..
