OVERVIEW

Functions

Button Function

Indicates engine live data.


LCD Display
A popup screen appears when some failure / notification occurs.

Turn ON and OFF the Engine power (and the display power).
Power Pressing and holding for 1 seconds is required.
Note: Power OFF is not possible while the Engine is running.

When Engine is not running: Start Engine.


Start/Stop
When Engine is running: Stop Engine.
Switch between the Engine monitoring screen pages (1~4).
Select
Select the next item in the menu screen.
Enter the menu and the alarm/error/settings screens.

OPERATION
Power ON
1. Press and hold the Power Button.
2. LCD is turned up and shows the Yanmar logo for 3 sec.
3. LCD switches to first Engine monitoring screen (Booting up complete).

Power OFF
1. Press and hold the Power Button Note: If the Engine is running, Power OFF is not
possible (a popup will appear).
2. LCD shows the Yanmar logo for 3 sec.
3. LCD power shuts OFF. (Shutting down complete)

Engine Start
Press and hold the Start/Stop Button when the Engine is not running.

Engine Stop
Press and hold the Start/Stop Button when the Engine is running.

Engine Monitoring Screens


The YD25 Display can display engine data on 4 customizable Screen Pages. The Select
Button is used to scroll between the pages.

The Screen Pages can be customized in the Display Setting screen. The following items
can be chosen:
- The number of values in the page. (1 or 2 values can be indicated in one page.)
- The data to be displayed. (Please refer to APPENDIX A)

The Main Menu can be accessed by pressing the Enter Button
while an Engine monitoring screen is being displayed.
There are 4 items in the Main Menu:

MAIN MENU

Display settings

Brightness
The brightness of the LCD is adjustable.
The brightness is changed from 1-8 (darkest to brightest) by pressing the Enter Button.
Default setting is 5.

Contrast
The contrast of the LCD is adjustable.
The contrast is changed from 1-8 (lowest to highest) by pressing the Enter Button.
Default setting is 5.

Unit
The units for Engine data are changeable from the following options:
• Temperature: °C, °F
• Pressure: kPa, bar, psi
• Fuel rate: L/hr, gal/hr, US gal/hr

The unit is changed by pressing the Enter Button.

Screen Pages
There are 4 individual Engine monitoring screen pages, that can be customized:
• Number of data per screen : 1, or 2
• Data: Engine speed, Coolant temperature, Oil pressure, Engine hours,
Battery voltage, Throttle, Engine load, Fuel rate, Air pressure, Fuel temperature,
Air temperature, Fuel level.

Depending on the engine, there are values that can not be displayed. In that case,”---“ will
be shown in the screen page.

System settings

Engine Model
Please select the correct engine model.

NOTE:
This setting is needed to indicate Active Errors correctly.
An incorrect model setting may cause incorrect error indication.

Power Mode
Power link mode can be enabled or disabled.
Power link function is used to synchronize Power ON/OFF with the other panels
connected to the same engine.

NOTE:
This function is only available when 2 or more panels are installed per engine.
Power link mode needs to be enabled in all panels individually.
After switching the mode, a reboot is required for the changes to take effect.

Fuel Sensor
The fuel level sender type can be selected.
Two types are available: 0 to 190Ω type or 240 to 33Ω.
These are most widely used in the market. In order to display the fuel level correctly, please
select a suitable fuel sensor.

Initialize
Returns all setting items to factory default.

Software version
Displays the software version.
