Narrative Report
Midterm Examination (PE 101)

One of the main goals of Physical Education is to help us in achieving physical fitness. According
to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, physical fitness is defined as "a set of
attributes that people have or achieve that relates to the ability to perform physical activity." Being
physically fit can change our body composition and increase our muscle strength and flexibility. It is
essential for every individual to understand the importance and type of training they do, it requires a lot
of efforts and persistence. Maintaining physical fitness can improves our health and immunity, thus,
helping us in prevent diseases. One thing that everyone should consider in doing a training is that it has
its own step by step procedures and guidelines.

On our Midterms Examination, we were asked to perform a two-to-three minute warm-up exercise
and core training exercises like squat, push-up, mountain climber, lunges, and jumping jack. After doing
the warm-up exercise that we have choreographed, we proceeded in doing a sixty-second squat, then
thirty second push-up and mountain climber, sixty-second lunges, and forty second jumping jacks. When
doing the squat, I have felt that my muscles are getting hard and my body started shaking a little bit.
When doing the push-up, I have felt good as I feel the pressure exerted by the gravity. On the mountain
climber, I have felt the burning sensation and my abs have swollen a little bit. On the lunges, I have felt
good as we stretched our muscles on the lover part of our body. Lastly on the jumping jacks, I have felt
the goodness of proper breathing because it helps us to improve our cardio-respiratory endurance. The
most effective part of the training for me is the squat because it improves our muscular endurance on the
lower part of our body, making us tougher.

Doing an exercise is good for the body, but doing it together with friends is better, not just only for
the body but also in the social life. I have realized that when doing a certain training, it is not so easy for
us who are not persistent. I admit that I train thrice a month, so the training that we have done can help
all of us to become physically fit. I recommend these types of exercises to those who loves playing mobile
games, so that they would be strong and healthy. Everyone deserves to become healthy, so start by now.
