1.02 The Contractors are requested to check ground water level, Note

2.00 CONCRETE WORK

5.00 DOORS AND WINDOWS

5.01 The Contractors are requested to refer Bills of Quantities, Note

5.02 All Aluminum and glazing work shall be carried out by an Note

duty and joint details as per manufactures specifications.

5.05 Sealant, beadings and gaskets to be used, shall be Note

the location of this project and necessary technical
information to be submitted for prior approval.

5.06 All ironmongery and fixing hardware for this section shall be Note

accordance with the programme of work.

Water Distribution System

9.11 Rates for all pipes shall include for pipes supports, saddles, Note
clips, screws, nails, hardware fixing, jointing, materials cutting
holes, chasing in brickwork, concrete etc., and making good the
same in all trades concrete etc., and making good the same in all
trades and under ground piping all necessary excavation,
backfilling, planking and strutting, concrete bedding and hunch,
dewatering and disposal of surplus material as directed. The
proposal for pipe fixing method to be submitted for prior
approval of the Consultant.

9.12 Rates for pipes shall include for burying in ground or walls or Note
clipping to wall and all pipe supports fixed to under side of the
soffit as required and for pipe fittings such as bends, tees, "Y"
junctions, reducers, inspection openings, stopends,etc., as
required.

9.13 All hot water pipes (supply and delivery) shall be polybutalene Note

as per specification.

9.14 All cold water pipes to be type 1000u. P.V.C and fittings to be Note
in moulded type.

9.15 Rate for all pipes shall include for necessary pipe fittings such Note
as bends, tees, Y junctions, angle valves, reducers inspection
openings, stop ends, etc., reducers inspection openings, stop

Sewer Disposal System

10.15 Sewer disposal system has been measured up to the nearest first Note
manhole. All work beyond the first manhole has been measured

tees, reducers, connectors cleaning point, etc., and inspection
openings as necessary for total completion of the work.

10.17 All sewer pipes shall be in the appropriate type as in the Note
specification with moulded fittings.

10.18 Rates for pipes shall include for fixing arrangements with clips Note
and/or pipe supports in hot dipped galvanised finish and with
necessary fixing accessories. The tenderer shall submit his
proposal for pipe supports/fixing system as per specification to
the approval of the Consultant.

laid to gradient filling with selected materials and encasing the
pipes with concrete as required.

Sewer Manhols

11.00 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

11.01 The Contractors are requested to refer Bills of Quantities, Note


General Notes, Pricing Preambles, Drawings, Specifications,
Conditions of Contract, Special, Conditions of contracts and
other relevant documents prior to pricing of this section of

11.02 All electrical fittings shall be of best quality approved fittings. Note

(a) Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of the system

cable with all accessories such as sockets connectors, conduit

chases in brick work and concrete work complete with all

11.04 All materials, equipment wiring and workmanship shall confirm Note
to local codes and specification, B.S.standards/latest I.E.E.

shall be in reputed manufacture having SLS acceptable to the
Consultant.

11.13 All lamp point wiring shall be in 1 mm2 Cu/PVC/PVC cable


and 1mm 2 protective earth in PVC conduits including all
accessories

11.14 All ceiling fans points wiring to be also completed with fan Note
hooks excluding fan and regulator.(Fan and the regulator has
been measured under lamp fittings) The contractor shall carry
out the mega test and any other tests with a temporary switch
and bulb with a holder at ceiling fan points and other similar
items wherever necessary.

11.15 The contractor shall forward the conduit layout for prior Note
approval of the Consultant.
