SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT

ADITYA BIRLA FASHION AND RETAIL LTD. (PANTALOONS) April 2019 – May 2019

 Conducted a survey on the customer satisfaction level at Pantaloons, Kankurgachi to find out what customers
feel about the services at Pantaloons.
 Interacted on an average with 100 potential customers on a regular basis.
 Learnt to handle different customers.
 Gained knowledge about the products available in the men’s formal wear department and learnt to identify
customer needs and increased sales for the same.
 Learnt visual merchandising, store operations, stock taking process, perpetual inventory process, cashing and
inventory inward-outward process.

KEY PROJECTS
 Phoenix: A multilevel public speaking competition where we researched and presented about HR best practices
of Reliance JIO onstage to a panel of jury members.
 Brand Wars: An intra B-school competition where we conceptualized the marketing and branding strategies
for launching a hypothetical brand of wheat flour “Attarangi” for the West Bengal market.
 City Scan: An event where we were allotted New market (imitation jewelry). Conducted a survey to understand
how market operates, challenges faced by the market and presented findings to a panel of jury members.
 Start-up Challenge: Participated in the entrepreneurship project where our team sold hand painted flower pots
over a period of two days and generated profits from the venture.
 Theme Day: A presentation competition on the theme of FMCG companies, we researched on Emami and
delivered the presentation in front of jury members.
