 • MAJOR CAUSES OF POVERTY INTERNATIONALLY?
• Ecclesiastes 10:17—20
• Deuteronomy 8:18
• You cannot conquer what you don't confront and you cannot
confront what you have not identified.
• When you ask the wrong question you get the wrong answer.
• Wrong Question :- WHAT CAN I DO TO BE RICH AND
WEALTHY?
• Right Question :- WHY AM I NOT RICH AND WEALTHY?
• Having a poverty mentality with multiple income streams will still
lead to poverty ultimately.
• There are several reasons why people are poor across the world.
 •1) IGNORANCE
•Knowledge is power - The reverse is true.
Ignorance is powerlessness.
•Ignorance is darkness.
•Ignorance is deadly
•Many people are students in the school of
ignorance.
• Ignorance in 5 areas.
a) Ignorance of who they are. THE POWER OF
MENTALITY
b) Ignorance of what they have. AN
UNDISCOVERED POTENTIAL IS A USELESS
POTENTIAL
• DISCOVER TO RECOVER
• Buried gifts and talents.
• A spider has all it needs to spin the web
• The passenger story in the ship
c) Ignorance of what they can do.
• - I have done all i can do
• - What else do you want me to do
• - I don't know what to do anymore.
• EVERYBODY CAN BE RICH BUT NOT
EVERYBODY WILL BE RICH?
• This is because not everybody is willing to pay
the price needed for financial freedom
d) Ignorance of what they should avoid.
• There are several poverty promoting mindsets, habits,
attitudes, pronouncements, lifestyles, beliefs etc that
exists in the lives of poor people all over the world.
• They allow the promoters of poverty to persist and
hence they stay poor.
e) Ignorance of wealth creation strategies
and principles.
• What resource materials have you invested in?
• Poor people don't invest in materials that would
change their lives. Thus POVERTY MINDSET
 •2. LAZINESS
•There are no menial jobs only menial minds.
•The road to poverty is paved with laziness and
good intentions without corresponding actions.
•You can't get a corporate job without a corporate
image.
•Lazy people have trademarks that unveil them
wherever they are.
a) Lazy people always have excuses that excuses
them from success path.
b) Lazy people always have people to blame.
c) Lazy people always have victim/entitlement
mentality.
d) Lazy people always have a tendency to steal when
chanced. Especially stealing employers time.
e) Lazy people have delusion of grandeur
f) Lazy people are always idle or busy doing nothing.
g) Lazy people love excessive sleep
 h) Lazy people love to watch too much TV
i) Lazy people always waste valuable time on
unproductive things
j) Lazy people are mostly stingy
k) Lazy tendencies always procrastinate
l) Lazy people are like to be drawn to addictive
things or maladjusted behavior
•These tendencies are like to show in lazy people.
 • 3. UNFAITHFULNESS
• Many start well but betray their progress by taking
short-cuts to try 'fast track' the process of financial
freedom.
• Are you dependable?
• Can you be trusted with money?
• Many people betray the opportunities they get.
• A)Unfaithfulness is wickedness.
• B)Unfaithfulness leads to destruction
• C)Unfaithfulness closes doors
• D)Unfaithfulness leads to greed and corruption.
• F)Unfaithfulness leads to poverty, hardship and
lack.
• Confidence in an unfaithful man is like a brocken
tooth or foot out of joint
• G)Unfaithfulness in money matters creates a
platform for unfaithfulness in other areas.
 • 5. DISOBEDIENCE
• There are 2 Avenues of disobedience.
• A. Disobedience to the laws of life.
• B. Disobedience to the laws of wealth creation
• Laws of life includes
• a. Law of self-preservation.
• b. Law of sowing and reaping
• c. Law of input and creation of values.
• d. Law of teamwork.
• e. Law of positive thinking
• f. Law of positive affirmations and confessions
• g. Law of financial intelligence
• h. Law of saving and delayed gratification
• i. Law of investment
• j. Law of multiple streams of income.
