First, we will introduce students about the topics of the day with the help of Prezi. After that, we will distribute activity sheet
and we will wait for students to solve them.

Individual Learning Activities Students will solve the activity sheet with themselves. This way
we can evaluate that what students understood the lecture
and we will determine what points students did not catch.
Group Learning Activities All students will stand up and solve the questions in their cards
and find their friends with the same answer. And they will
compare their solutions.

Summary
We will use in this lecture Prezi and activity sheets to teach students content.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Individual We will look how many of the questions will be solved in activity

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Group The classroom will divide groups and each group will consist of five
Performance students and they will be given questions about addition and
subtraction of fractions. They have limited time to solve the
questions.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan


At the beginning of the lecture, we will ask questions students to activate their prior knowledge. Then, we will continue with
Prezi to introduce students about the how can we do fraction addition and fraction subtraction. After make sure that all
students catch the critical points in the content, we will open activity sheet which is in the Prezi and we will wait for students
to solve questions by themselves. While students are solving questions, we will move around to check them. When all students
finish the solving questions, we will make them pair in order to compare their answers whether they are the same or not. Our
purpose here is that give students chance to learn working with pair. Finally, we will choose arbitrary students in the
classroom to solve questions on the board. At the end of the lesson, we will do an activity with game, this way students can
comprehend and they will have fun simultaneously. Brief explanation of activity;
Papers which includes questions about fraction addition and subtraction will be distributed all students. Students will be
expected to solve the questions and find their peer who has the same answer with him/her.
Note: If there will be unexpected situations such as Prezi does not work, we will continue with the lecture notes and activity
sheets.
