In this lesson, Task-Based Language Teaching will be implemented by using Bubble in order to show different
movie genres to the student. Also, by using the dialogues in the coursebook, they will practice their listening
skills. Towards the end of the class, students will be expected to gather in groups of five, and talk about their
preferences of movies

Explanation
After the explanation of the movie genres, students will talk about the movie genres they like and don’t like.
Explanation regarding the implementation of the plan
Initially, By using bubbl. Movie genres will be defined by the teacher. Secondly, the subject “likes, dislikes” will
be explained in Simple Present Tense. After that, the dialogues will be listened via tape and imitated by the
students by reading the dialogues. They will share their likes and dislikes of movie genres in their groups. After
completing a group activity, homework will be provided.

different preferences of various occasions of a student. Also, by doing the activities provided in Animato, they
will practice their understanding of the subject. Towards the end of the class, students will be expected to
gather in pairs and record a video about their preferences.

exemplified in Animato. After that, fill in the blank activities will be done. They will share their preferences in
written form. Then, their homework will be explained.

specific time structures such as 9 a.m. or in the middle of the time, etc..

Initially, By using Pictochart, different time structures will be explained by the teacher. Secondly, the
understanding of the subject will be measured, utilising Kahoot through true-false and matching activities. At
the end of the class, students will be given an individual video project about their daily life.
